Congrats to The Crusaders and the Lions

Commiserations to the lions and their fans ,and  well done Crusties ! Good on both teams for such a thrilling game .

 ...Heroic effort from the Lions as was from the Mighty Chiefs last week but this is the Crusaders year.... a valiant effort from the Lions but got to hand it to the Crusties, they done NZ proud bringing home the trophy after a hard fought win...

 I was playing tennis and tapped the match. I gather there was a red card and the lions played a half with 14 men. I also see Cloudy thinks the Lions would have won if there had been no red card.I have long argued that reds mess the game up for the fans and here is another case. Don't know if I can be bothered to watch a farce like this. Congrats or whatever to all concerned.

 Will now watch the game but saddened to read a red card was involved. Congrats to the Crusaders and their fans. Tough luck Lions - sounds like they gave their all.

 Good game by the Crusaders!!! The Lions had a great season just the last hurdle catches them. The Lions still played well with 14 men as they hoped the Crusaders would blow their a$$ like the Canes did... But the Crus kept tackling away and had the better game plan. The Lions never really looked like running away with after the red card they were even more behind. Close thing again for the Lions, hope they keep up this style 

 Beanhead, that is very bad sportsmanship. Learn to be a good sport in the future -->as JW would say "one can only hope"

 Beandip best not trip on the lip when you jump the net to congratulate the winner,although I suspect you would have plenty of practise at that.

Yes, well done Crusaders. Very worthy winners, especially considering they are the first team to ever win a Super Rugby final outside of their own country.

 well deserved championship and some records to bring back,... Scott Robertson, first to win SR as player and as coach,... first team to win a final in the Republic,.... only team to have won finals in other countries, Canberra 2000 and Jo'burg 2017,.... and the most important:

the 8th title, something the other teams can only dream of

congrats to all the players, with so much youth and so many new players nobody counted on them at the beginning of the comp,...
and to the coaching staff, Scott Robertson, Jason Ryan, Leon McDonald and Brad Mooar,... they've made the difference

The Saders play a nice mix of rugby....not neglecting the set piece.
