On Saturday, Kieran Read will become the 7th New Zealander to reach 100 test caps for the All Blacks . . . and what a game in which to reach that milestone!
Read also boasts one of the best records as captain having won 22 of the 24 tests in which he's captained the All Blacks.
Congratulations to a great player and an inspirational captain on a remarkable achievement.

There is no question about Read's value as a player, but I don't like him. It will take too long to explain why exactly. In short: windgat. I think he is the first AB captain I really dislikes.

Congratulations to a great rugby player, captain, number 8 and a gentleman.
I cannot think of a more fitting honour to bestow on Read that to earn his CAP against the Lions in Auckland.
One of all time greats in my estimation pure brilliance I would say.
Rooinek he is at the peak of his career and for me, the only SA player who reached 100 test and was still a quality performer was Monty.
Sure the other guys had great careers but they all stayed on too long.
Hope we have one great test without cards.

In today's world, it counts if u start or come on as a sub.
Times sure have changed many things and not always for the best.
