What a game! Great work by that pack. However, the Crusaders look like the real deal. Is this the Lions year? Away in New Zealand? What are your thoughts?
Congratulations Lions!
I am surprised by your congratulations in this case since you in the past said they play "netball" rugby.
I was delighted by there performance om general - but I do not think they can beat the Crusaders.
Dyanti is becoming an excellent player, certainly a contender for South African player of the year at this early stage of 2018.
Netball rugby? Another lie. What in the heck is net all rugby anyway?
Sharkbok, I have the same the same feeling. Especially away in New Zealand. But, on any given day. The Lions can hurt them. Here's hoping.
Very good effort by the Lions...they played well especially the scrum but the Saders are a completely different story especially in Christchurch. The Lions will find it difficult with a side that ticks up the scoreboard even though they will compete with the scrum and use them for push over tries...the Saders are try scoring machines and are the most precise in backline assault ...but maybe once in a lifespan of rugby, the Lions they might get lucky and push them to a close margin but common sense and logic tells me it is a very long shot. The Saders as a team is just too well oiled to lose...they unquestionably the best outfit in the horrible super series...it is something they have honed to perfection...glad when it's finished and international rugby enters the scene and build up to WC which is by far the best rugby scenario of all.
Overall New Zealand are still the stand out country but SA is making progress under extreme adversity to close the gap. I do think there is a spark still left in SA rugby that might well be kindled to a flame come international rugby ...but personally I doubt it.
The only way the Lions will win is if a game ruining call is made in their favor.
Again, ideally the Lions win.
Failing that, the second best result would be a Sader's win.
Lastly, the worst possible result, by a long distance, would be if either team wins on the back of shit reffing and game ruining calls.
