Credit where credit is due....

Well done to Quads for not retaliating.

As much as i can't stand the prick, i got to give it to him, i most certainly would have f'd the guy up...

Wallaby reject Quade Cooper has been involved in an incident at a Brisbane hotel in which he had beer thrown over him, according to reports.

The 25-year-old Reds fly-half was drenched in beer by a patron at the Normanby Hotel on Sunday, shortly after he was told he would not be part of the Wallabies squad for this month's three-Test series against the touring British and Irish Lions, News Ltd newspapers reported.

A witness told Brisbane's The Courier-Mail the patron goaded Cooper, provoking an argument, and threw a plastic cup of beer over him.

"Quade did nothing and, to be honest, I was surprised he didn't retaliate because I would have," the witness said.

"He was hit with a full cup of beer. He was soaked in it.

"There was an argument and Quade stood up to him, but he was never going to throw the first punch."

Good stuff. Takes a big man to do that, especially when he must have been emotionally upset by the news. Can't say I wouldn't have done something.

the patron probably wasn't on the ground for Cooper to knee him in the head?

I wonder if it had anything to do with his licence to box?

@Beeno...

Had a very similar thought when reading this post.

Not only will he lose his boxing licence... but Deans will have a field day on the bandwagon.

So Quade did well to restrain himself.

Great to see you back Flash. Where have you been?

It was ver ycommendable, I saw Quade bout. He was aganst a fairly innocuous oppoenent but I was impressed by his speed and timing.

I think the kiwis dont like him as they feel betrayed. He is  fine player.

He was given a shot at becoming a superstar and pissd it against the wall.

Now he's sulking!!!

Arrogance cost him big time.

The threat of his suspended sentence kept him from doing anything silly ... definitely not his character.

Beside the chump is a natural coward (knees people in the face when they're down) ... I reckon the guy throwing the beer was probably standing right in front of him and this frightened poor old Cooper.

The Wallabies don't need him. In fact they are a whole lot stronger without this fool.
