I did mention that Mallet and John Mitchell discussed the scrum after the game and showed video evidence of continual illegal Oz scrumming. The Oz bind was wrong and on every scrum they shoved early. Both agreed oz continually scrummed illegally to cover their short comings.

Mitchell, being a kiwi seemed to think this was smart play. Mallet an honorable South African with principles - thought it was illegal and should have been easily spotted by the ref. Both agreed the wobblies scrum tactics were illegal and had been deliberately planned. hence nullifying a Bok strength.
Meanwhile some oaks here think our scrum is a problem.
I have still to watch the nz Argies game but hear Franks got massacred at scrum time and the Argies forwards beat up on the soft ab pack. One of their tries I heard was illegal as well. Wake up Jaco! Apparently the Argies lacked a degree of fitness. Look forwa rd to watching the game
