ou windpomp thinks I and others are rediculous , childish to suggest such a thing!

Although it has happened in cricket it couldnt in rugby. why ou windpomp thinks its impossible only he knows. Like cricket, rugby is professional and is big business with great rewards to the winners. Personally I can't think of one reason why its impossible and many why its likely.

I think ou windpom isconcerned that bulle refs Joubert and Bonkers might possibly in on the act? No hard evidence but only circumstantial evidence .

To me its time rugby cleaned up its act as things are getting rediculous. The change to some unworkable rules like the breakdown would also help and help cut down on bent nz refs exercising their bent descretion.

Right now nz refs are batting hard to get the crusties back in contention. They handed the Mighty Stormers match to the crusties and now the Reds have suffered (17 penaties to 6 it took this time). Like the Stormers suddenly the Reds don't know  the rules. Of course the crusties  alwaysdo   when a nz ref is officiating that is. Hahahhahahahhahahahahahahahaha and they think nobody knows what is potting. Hilarious stuff!

after watching (having predicted) the farce that was Bryce lawrence v Reds today (not to mention last year's RWC games where SA / Aust / Samoa were severely robbed) I am convinced that this game is as corrupted as pack of indian accountants who worked for Enron.

ITs an absolute disgrace and an insult to the intelligence of fans that biased refs can continue to determine outcome of games. The only solution is a video ref challenge system... which is used in many other codes.

What I cant understand is that the betting agency(s) are allowing such serious breaches of the rules to continue - unless they too are in on it.

Unfortunately a rugby game can be made or unmade by the ref - which is out of control and just plain insulting to the fans.

Old Beenbal has been proven not to have any clue, whatsoever, where to find the laws of the game, nor to read or understand them. How can he judge what the mistakes by the ref were, or if he is correct in his conspiracy theories, the deliberate efforts to benefit one team over the other?

The only ones who were cought out and convicted for cheating in cricket were players. Name me the cricket umpires who were involved in match fixing and/or corruption.

Beeno1, surely anything is possible!  The thing is that until there is factual evidence and proof of the existence thereof, it will remain but a conspiracy.  The thing is that if sufficient people start questioning the outcome of games and the decisions made by referees, the dam wall must at some stage burst.

I just wonder why some referees are questioned and some are encouraged by rewarding them with an award after displaying substandard refereeing. One mistake, two mistakes, in a game yes, but some are making more blunders tha actual correct decisions - and then there is the ARs who sometimes prefer to look the other way.  It makes one wonder sometimes, not if referees are blatantly crooked, but how competent they are - and why some fight so fiercely to avoid the use of technology during play..

Makes you wonder does it not.

Lunatic there are three things at play. The problem with the rules themselves which require all this judgement eg breakdown laws. The competency of refs and then bias or cheating.

Work needs to be done in all spheres. Cheating is the worst as incompetence usually means the dice at least is not loaded against you totally. You still have a chance as calls go both ways and MAY equal themselves out. Against a cheating ref its almost impossible to win

another sport well know for its cheating refs is boxing and home town decisiosn are well documented.

Windpomp wasnt that umpire who gave ntini out leg before in a series against england nailed?

Cricket umpires with the appeals system have been reigned in and we neeed something simialr to deal with bulle refs etc.

You should wake up out of your dreamland Beenbal. I do not recall the Ntine incident your are talking about. More details? The umpires apeal system has nothing to do with corrupt/cheating umpires, in fact, the referal system has proven that the umpires get it correct more often than what they get it wrong.

The appeal system would be the only thing to reign in the number of errors in this sport - even SOCCER the world's most corrupted sport is now looking @ video replays...

If bad calls are hindering the game - In Australia we have lots of other codes to follow - albeit not as good a porduct but dealing week after week of insulting referee farcical calls is just way too much.

Seriously Australian rugby will go backward soon and frankly considering we are about the only country WITH an economy - I think SANZAR need our market.

Anyway something needs to be done - but I fear it will be in the form of tit for tat and dodgy reffing will determine this campaign and too ruin the tri-nations.

What a friggin joke this has become

It is a joke and the only saffa not getting it is the dumbass windpomp who spent the post Bok/Oz match defending brycy with his absurd statements. He even suggested it was our fault we lost given the amount of possession we had etc. What a dismal performace from ou windpomp.

I am afraid the joke is on ou windpomp!! Bwahahahahhahahaha

You have convinced me Beenbal. It was BL who took out the opponent in the line out at the end of the game, not Danie Rossouw., and it was him who decided to take a quick tap instead of taking the points when the Aussies were penalised. It was also BL who tried to break the Oz line, instead of going for a drop goal. It was BL who knocked the ball with and open goal line waiting. Yep. The Bokke had flokol to with with that loss. I mean it was a close battle in any case with possession and territory being very even if not slightly in favour of Oz. Do not believe any of those dubious corrupt stats that have the possession at around 70% for the Bokke. That is just something dreamed up to distract from BL being part fo this grand scheme of conspiracy.

The 2011 RWC is over and done with. Finish. History. Get over it.

Aha at last your true colours are showing. However all fans are asking is that we get a fair deal. If we had then despite any errors we made we would have won the game very comfortably.

The stats support the huge consensus that we were the better team. However persistent biased ref calls robed us blind and denied us points which should have been our and would have assured a comfortable win.

Your claim that the Boks lost this game and its their own fault is absurd. The fact is the Boks played enough good rugby to win comfortably. BL has been widely condemed and is now off the elitepanel of refs. All this you conveniently ignore and blame the Boks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Disgusting suff windpomp.

Trouble is you are too attached to your bulle refs to want things to change and competent fair refs to adjudicate.  Two Super 14 wins that should never have been for starters. Or how about that bulle win over the crusties at loftus which left McCaw seething . He knows when oaks are cheating after all!!

The time to get over thIs is when we see bad refs are no longer spoiling the great game. I will agree though that it is a tedious matter that has been going on for years and would that it would be resolved and would not be a item always up for discussion. Seems though that instead of dying down its  coming more to the fore.  With TV people see the errors. Something has to be done.

You are still convinced that Lawrence was removed because he cost SA the RWC then, are you? It has nothing to do with his poor overall performance during the RWC, has it?

His other performances were no doubt noted but nothing compared to his performance re the Bok/Oz game.

Are you seeing any light yet windpomp?

By the way you did you ever explain why BL was made nz ref of the year? Did it strike you as a little odd?

It still does not mean he got demoted just because of the QF match.

Why he got the NZ award is irrelevant.

Are you perhaps seeing the light?

Windpomp it is clear you intend dodging the issues and I suppose that is about all you can do given the hole you are in.
