Can the Bulls spoil the party by playing out of their skins from here on out?

It's no secret that the Bulls have a much easier run in as they play 3 of their 5 remaining games at home and their 2 away games are against struggling opposition in the Stormers and Lions.

Sharks do have a game in hand which means we have 6 games left of which 5 are on the road. Our 1 remaining home game is against the Stormers and although they are struggling, they do lift their game in Durban.

Let's look at the games. The bulls have and in this order and the points I believe they will collect from the games:

Stormers (h) 4 points

Brumbies (h) 1 point

Lions (a) 4 points

Stormers (a) 1 point

Rebels (h) 5 points

Currently the Bulls sit on 24 log points. If my predictions are to come true, the Bulls will finish on 39 log points.

Sharks have and in this order:

Brumbies (a)

Crusaders (a)

Blues (a)

Stormers (h)

Cheetahs (a)

Stormers (a)

As you can see, not one of those games is an easy one and realistically speaking, only the Stormers at home will the Sharks actually go in favourites in my opinion but we know how the stormers love to break sharks hearts in Durban. Sharks sit on 35 points currently so possibly just 1 more win and a couple close finish bonus points could see the Sharks qualify top in SA.

How much will that dropped game to the Highlanders cost the Sharks this year?

Right now, who do you think sits in the pound seats out of the Sharks and Bulls? Bulls could potentially win all 5 as that is by no means impossible if you look at the opposition vs location of game!

Sharks have it all to do in my opinion and I think we will need to win at least 2 or 3 of our remaining games to be in the "safe zone!"

Possibly Blues as we do well in Auckland in recent times, Stormers at home and Cheetahs on the road in a massive defensive effort. Or let's just make it easy and go 4 from 4 in Australasia;-)

The bulls and Cheetahs will do the sharks a massive favour if they can beat the brumbies. Those two teams showed what they can do and it would help the Sharks if the Brumbies lost 2 or 3 games
It is all about the home semis and if we want an SA team to win then we need the sharks to finish top of the log.
I hope that they bulls come right as it would be a dam shame if we don't have a second SA team in the play-offs.
I think the bulls have a long shot but they will have to win everything.
