Tomorrow against the Lions Two 21 year old centres and watch young Jacobs on the wing. He is a big unit who bust a good few tackles playing for the Bulls U21 side Good to see Gqoboko back at loosehead and Elrigh Louw back at 7

The match at halftime and the Bulls are leading 12=9.   All penalties - the first three went to the Lions with Jannie du Plessis being tops in scrumming.   However, the same Jannie went into retreat only he can manage to do and thereafter the Bulls started getting penalties at every scrum.

A poor game thus far,   I tired to find Vermeulen and Alberts  being good - but thuus far ero of value,

The Bulls won deservedly so - since they scored the only try in the match - beating the Lions 22-15.   A really crap game a pain to watch,

Lions coach is utterly useless He selects Jannie du Plessis at tighthead, uses the utterly useless Dreyer as a replacement loosehead when he played tighthead all his career He plays Alberts, a flank at lock. He always picks the utterly useless Orie at lock But best of all one of the finds of last season was scrum half vd Bergh and this season he provided much spark to the Lions side only to now find himself the 3rd choice after the boring Warner was elevated to the starting spot with one of the worst scrumhalves in the game in Ross Cronje being the reserve 9. Then we have this years shinning light at 13 in Similane relegated to the bench, with Dan Kriel at 12 and Odendaal, a 12 being played at 13 Our provincial coaches bar Jake are way out of their depth

Agree 100% - Smith at flyhalf did well - much better than useless Morne did when he cam e off he bench.
