I watched the Leicester game, he played well. But that was a crazy game too....Tom Youngs was Yellow Carded for being pushed over by a team mate !! Austin Healey was getting rather annoyed by the Ref, I have to say. I'll keep my eye out for him, Rooinek.
The angst after injury is one thing we dealt with in Sports Psych. It's difficult to overcome that fear, some never do and no-one should ever judge anyone for that.
But it's early days. And, once the pain subsides and you start to heal, a lot of us just want to get back out and get cracking on again :) No-one should force it. Just have to talk around the subject and ease the conversation along into the fear of what may or may not happen. The problem is, one can never make guarantees.
The poor boy had a horrible time though. And at least Saffex knows all about popped shoulders ! The poor love has had enough of those to last a lifetime.
My Mum dislocated her shoulder twice, she was 11. The village we live in doesn't have it's own Dr's Surgery still. First time, she had to walk with her Dad to have it put in. Second time, he made her cycle there on her own !! Poor little girl !! She said it is pure relief when it is popped back in, but the ache afterwards is horrid. In those days, they didn't give you any pain relief during or after.....she's only 65, by the way, not ancient...ha ha !! Just had to whack it in a sling. She was just out playing with the boys when she did it. Had to have stitches shortly after, in her chin, when she fell out of a tree !! Bit of a tomboy was my Mum :)
I cracked my collarbone, similar ache post injury, so I'm told. Nasty :(
