Just looked at Jakes team to face the lions with only one change in the form Jordaan on the bench.
I thought that White might go back to getting Jordaan and SP Marais but he has persevered with Mvovo and Si'thole. Both of these player had excellent games against the waratahs.
Then you have Zelinga which we all thought was set adrift based on pre-season selections and the players he had on the bench, but since Lambie's injury he has managed to get ahead of Swiel.
To me this just proves that White is creating competition in every position in his team not to mention that he has 4 African players in the starting 15.
I just have to commend White on this, where if I looked at how Allistair has ruined the stormers by not creating competition and to a certain degree Ludeke and Drotske.
I also think that Meyer can learn a thing or two by how to rotate your squad and not to work of a pre-estimate plan of when players will play and how long.
Its rugb y, injuries happen all the time and you never know when its going to hit. So it is better to have a team member waiting in the wings to grab his chance. If you're out you have to win your way back.
Steyn just needs to be challenge though and then I think that White will be onto a winner.
