Both of these Kings players should be fast tracked into the Bok side.

To think that both were discarded by the Sharks as one would a used condom. I wonder who made that stupid decision? John Smit ... Gary Gold??

Anyway ... we have our 10 sorted in Cronje as far as I'm concerned. He handled the pressure brilliantly. Jantjies would have cracked and fallen away. He showed us all what he has to offer. A cool head. Tactically astute. He has matured into something special.

Lambie is done. He's too damn fragile. A glass head. It's best he calls it a day. I would hate it if he were hurt permanently.

So sad.

Chris Cloete also has Bok written all over him. There is no one that can even come close to him. I would slot him in at 6 without a second thought. Kriel at 7 and the best capt and 8th man, Whiteley in at 8.

Well played Kings. I love your attitude and fighting spirit.

Agreed.
RG Snyman, Hanro Liebenberg, Burger Odendaal are the only Bulls players I would include for now. Jessie Kriel unfortunately seems to fail every week. Sad really.
Sadly I feel the Boks will stick with more pretenders this year.
There's no excuse though. In all positions we have numerous quality players who are young and who could be part of a very competitive team come the WC. Will it happen? Not if Toetie has anything to say about it.

So sad, Plum. The man doesn't have a rugby brain and can't see the abundant talent we have in the country.

Snyman, Liebenberg and Odendaal are all skilled youngsters. Toetie would rather go for Lood, Carr and De Jongh.

See the difference?

Makes me so mad.

Preach.
Funny thing is I had him picked weeks ago he is an obvious choice, Mike and a few others banged on about him being a failure after doing the rounds at various clubs, glad to see some are waking upto the fact that he is the real deal.

I'd also throw in the Kings #9...said so awhile back, think if we get the halfback pairing sorted we'd be on the road to getting back the Bok mojo.
Only problem there is what to do with useless Coetzee.

Righton Denny.

A few small steps at a time ...

I think we have our hooker sorted ... as well as our 2nd row ... same goes for the back row ...

Cronje would make for a good solid 10. I need to pay more attention to the Kings 9 so no comments regarding him.

We have the makings of a good mid-field and that just leaves us with a few odds and ends to sort out.

It's not all doom and gloom.

Now to get the coach aboard.

I basically agree about Cronje and Schreuder as halfback pair for the Springboks, but I would not even think about Snyman as a lock.   He has far too many problems to be considered.
Schreuder may have the inside rail here - since he did play for the Stormers when the latter team was "coached?" by Coetzee.   The other scrummies are either failing like happened repeatedly in the Super Rugby season or when they played for the Springboks previously.

Well of course not, Comrade. He's talented.

You like Beast at 1, Lood at 5, Lappies at 6, De Allende at 12, Rhule at 14 and Rassie to coach them.

You are as thick as you look.

Please just hush up.

What I take from this is that "preach" is now a firmly established word in this board.

Snyman might not be a starter for now but he should most certainly be in the squad. It doesn't take a rugby genius to see that the guy has what it takes. And please let's remember, he is playing at one of thethe worst coached teams in the country...and under what should be clear by now is probably one of the worst captains ever in SA.

the inclusion of Cronje seems a no brainer at this moment,..... there's no other current SA flyhalf playing the way he's playing,.... lambie and Jantjes have proved once and again (everytime they had a chance) they cannot handle the pressure,.... Pollard is injured,.... as the stormers flyhalves du Plessis and du Preez are (they have to still play some more SR but seems they can be included in the frame)

Cloete is a good SR player (and the only SA openside who plays as an openside) but I doubt very much he could deliver at the highest level,.... and forrming a backrow with him, Jaco Kriel and Whiteley seems suicidal,... that microlight backrow would be hammered at test level

What a performance from Cronje and Cloete.
Without a doubt, they should be in the squad as well as starters.
Great pick CC.
Now just how are we going to get another coach?
