Yes more bad news about the kiwis  They get away with yet another undeserved win.

Canterbury Crusaders prop Joe Moody has been cited for striking Kurtley Beale during Saturday's home win over the New South Wales Waratahs but the decision has been dismissed as 'too little, too late' by enraged Australian rugby fans.

In an off-the-ball incident, the All Blacks loosehead raised his elbow into Beale's jaw late in the first half, flattening the Wallabies' inside centre, before collecting a pass and scoring the Crusaders' first try. (Wonder how the bent kiwis wll spn this one. HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA)

Local referee Ben O'Keeffe ( FOLLOW THE MONEY OAKS) and an all-New Zealand roster of officials allowed the incident to go unpunished and the try stood.

It proved to be a decisive moment as the Crusaders, who had been trailing 29-0 before the incident, ran over three tries in the following minutes before halftime and eventually overhauled the Waratahs 31-29.

The citing commissioner had found the incident "had met the Red Card threshold for foul play," governing body SANZAAR said in a statement on Sunday.

The Crusaders victory extended New Zealand's winning streak over Australian Super Rugby sides to 39 straight matches.

Moody was slammed in Australian media for the "cheap shot" on Beale and the citation did little to ease the indignation.

"The Crusaders won 31-29, but they know they didn’t deserve the chocolates," a blogger on Australian sports website The Roar wrote.

"And Ben O’Keeffe doesn’t deserve another game of rugby."

Waratahs' New Zealand-born coach Daryl Gibson, a former Crusader, said after the game that O'Keefe had missed the incident but declined to blame the oversight for the loss.(AS BENT AS THEY COME!!!!!)

"It's an elbow to the head, so I'm sure the powers to be will look at that," he said.

WELL WHAT CAN ONE SAY!!!!

NZ refs would normally not card any NZ players.    I thought Retallick got carded yesterday and a penalty given - but it was not listed in the ESPN report.,  so I may be wrong.

Beale must have been holding Moody back illegally or something . When the ref is not calling stuff occasionally players may try & help him out. Another case of Kiwi fair-mindedness which is of course misinterpreted by the likes of Beeno

This will probably becomes clear in the case of the hearing to be held.

I think that it is highly likely that he would be found guilty - but likely o get away with a ban of one week.

It's never ending.

The call for playing up north is gaining momentum.

Probably be another year or two before all our franchises play up north.

Then the Kiwis can fund their own damn competition against the South Pacific Islands, Australia and Japan, Probably sucker Japan into paying all the bills.

Look forward to it big time.

Funny. The Yarpies on here obviously think SA rugby is still relevant.
Who's going to break the bad news to them?

Ah Walter Mitty is back having a go at South Africans.....funny. Still hasn't had the basic decency to admit he was wrong about me, on this site. That would take just a a little bit of character, not much....but sadly too much for a sneering loser.

SA Rugby Fans acting like teenage girls again. Do you want me to account the many examples of bias officiating up in the Republic? OR even 2 weekends ago when Dagg got taken out who is now on the sidelines. And no redcard was given. But i see everyone hones in with their micro-scope when it occurs in NZ. What about in the Landers Lions game. When it should of bn a try to Ben Smith. And one of your lazy locks, was lazy running, and got away with it? Look Moody was clearly a red card offense, that the officials clearly missed. But I find it funny everytime this occurs. You all cry foul .

In reality that is not why Tahs lost. They lacked discipline, and conceded 31 unawnsered points. Foley also missed two kickable penalties. But lets not b logical about it.

Franks got a two week ban - but the problem here is that none of the officials pretended to see anything wrong with the incident.   There should at least be a yellow card and the try disallowed - but nothing at all.   That is where I believe the problem lies.

If Sanzaar really showed anything - the relevant try should be cancelled and the result of the match changed accordingly.     That has happened in other codes of sport - why not i n rugby?

So how many games is that this season?

I count five now, or is it six?

Kunti teams being handed wins.

That's what, 20-24 points.

Of course, totally irrelevant.

Luke...

I actually made a post about the call in the Lions game, literally as it happened .

You'll find that the Saffas there pretty much agreed it was a try to Smith.

Imagine that huh.

Of course they'll turn a blind eye. It's a KIWI that transgressed the law. Anyone else would have been taken to task ... and as usual, their dirty play doesn't warrant a card.

Bismarck Du Plessis gets red carded for a legit tackle on Carter. The entire country roars with approval as it guaranteed a Kiwi win against 14 men. This fucker is allowed to carry on playing without even a second look ... and then he get's an incredible two week suspension for his filthy tactics. WOW!! What a shock!!

Ask yourself why?

How else are they to guarantee a Kiwi win? That's the point of it all. It's been happening all season long. Hell ... go back to the 2011 WC and see what happened there. They were totally out played by the French and with a little aid ended up walking away with the trophy.

By merely looking at what happened with the Chiefs, the Highlanders and now the Saders, you'll know and see what has clearly been put in place. The remaining kiwi sides can cash in their "refs aid" card at any time. I wonder how many of these cards have been issued?

It's what they do. It's who they are.

I wonder if this twat will even spend the entire 2 weeks on the side lines. Wouldn't surprise me to see him running out this weekend.

Bring on the northern hemisphere competitions already.

Sooner the better.

I would have thought CC would have been able to man-up and say "play on " but even he has been conned by Beeno. Then of course there is Plum who in spite of his towering intellect has also been conscripted into Beeno's army of bleating sheep (picture will be provided in due course - stay tuned).
Not only do us Kiwis have to put up with the poor performance of SA teams and its negative impact on rugby but now we are subjected to bleating about the refs. Up your game!
