Build up starts 6:30 pm over here. I think its gonna go Saders 31 - 23. But Canes could win this if they play the terriotary game. And play in saders 22.

I had P erenara but I'm well and truly screwed this week . . . I had Kieran Read as my captain and he's left the field with a score of -1!

Congrads Hurricanes individual players. I hope Hammett doesn't try to steal the glory from the players. Hammett vs Blackadder - I don't know who is dumber.

Cloudy - Of course ... I forgot the time difference for a moment.

It's 10h49am here so I have the whole day still ahead.

Guess I'll chill a little later.

great win from the canes despite the hammet handicap, meke effort boys.

think of all those games at the start of the season where hammet in his infinte had alapti leiua benched???
he was the canes best player last season, and he was one of the ebst players in the entire ITM if not the best.

hurricanes
anyways, hurricanes are looking good but consistency is still the holy grail theyre looking for, they will be ruing their missed chances against the stormers and brumbies.

andre taylor is getting back to some good form, more gametime and his current form progression should see him come close to what he was in 2012.

bateman is normally a player i dont like for the canes at 12, but he was solid today against the crusaders.

perenara is overarted IMO, very le roux like in that everything good he does, he does something equally as bad.

ben franks is easily the best prop in the game at the moment, his scrummaging can be better, but not a single prop out there comes close to him in everything else expected from rugby players.

crusaders
and crusaders depth is non existent, there is none of that trademark punch/iumpact players that crusaders of yesteryear use to have.

nadolo needs to start next every game, he was a real danger. i remember a certain individual here mouthing of that he was nothing special, im sure he would be feeling pretty stupid right about now, but that is his default feeling.

mcnicholl is overrated IMO. was shining bright in the ITM, but is nothing more then a fading candle in the spXV darkness.

saders need whitelock bros adam and george back ASAP.

and where dafuq is guilford??? mcnicholl and tuitavake at their best are still pale shades compared to zacky boy at his worst.

losing two home games??? could the crusaders finals streak be broken in 2014???

anyways, good game, would have been better if dumb and dumber werent the coaches of both teams.

Kieran Read's injury. They said it was his ankle, but the commentators said he was walking off without any apparent issue and I don't remember seeing it wrapped in ice .

I think he was just knocked silly by Savea, never recovered and decided to go off under the ankle complaint so he didn't have to pass the concussion test?

You could be right, Oimatey. I was hoping for some comment on Read's injury so I'd know whether to dump him from my FR teams (and he's in all of them) but there was zilch. Not even a mention of what the problem might have been . . . which is a bit surprising seeing as it was his 100th game!
Julian Savea is in great form. The Hurricanes should be giving him the ball at every opportunity.

i thought the lack of ice on his ankle was a bit odd too.

i dont get the feeling he was dodging a concussion test, but maybe being extra extra careful with his ankle/s.
he has a history of ankle problems, not one but both have been injured a number of times, so im leaning more towards read was being overly cautious.

but we should hear more over the next couple of days.

Hurricanes are really starting to crank. There backline is deadly. See that try by Alapati Leiua. Savea smashing Read. The Hurricanes continue with this aggressive style and pace they should not only compete for the NZ table but the whole competition.  Have to get past the Blues first.
Chiefs will start to drop away until they can get some home ground advantage.

Another gutless performance....from a team lost! Although they played better on attack they still look very ordinary...defence was pitiful !!Leiua's try was like a dagger to the heart!
