Insofar as the Crusaders - Blues match is concerned it was an interesting match to watch - but unfortunately also a match that showed up more weaknesses than strengths.
* The Blues line outs were poor and their scrumming iffy.
* The Crusaders ball handling was ridiculously poor
* McCaw must take a tip and retire to his retirement village - he is way past it
* Penalties galore on both sides
On the positive side -
* The Blues have a nice youngster at flyhalf; and
* There defence was excellent
I said before the season that I do no like the look of the Crusaders squad and that I cannot see them making any headway in Super 15. Nothing that happened thus far has changed my opinion on that score.
