However, this match again proved why Morne Steyn should never be the pivot in any game.  Whatever he did today was a total bugger-up - except that he converted one penalty and made one good line kick in the whole game.   You cannot blame one player for a defeat - but he is crucial for performance and that was th one poor element.

The other poor performers were predictable - the useles props.

The Crusaders played extremely well - and they always looked dangerous on attack.   Actually it was a very nice game to watch - but giving away penalties like the Bulls did played a major role in the outcome of the match.

Nothing unexpected happened - so the Crusaders are through to the semis - whee they will meet stronger opposition than they did today.

Bulls lacked cohesion and confidence in the first half and game was already decided by then. They clearly dont have an onfield leader - Spiess seems like too much of a 'nice bloke' - and looking at the bench they didnt look too fazed to loose.......

As springbok potential you'd have to think none of the backs are going to be in the mix with few of the forwards well in contention. The long black haired potgeiter? is a tackling machine.

Disappointing performance IMO - woulda liked to seen bulls take it to them more.

....now...............................GO the REDS!!!!!

The whole Bulls team failed to front for the first 40 minutes andthe penalties conceded was mainky due to the crusties putting massive ressure and being more physical than us.

This is what scares me about Bok rugby - when we are matched or beaten physically then our back up plan is kick kick kick and we just revert to dumb rugby

hopefully the bulls have shown Heineken Meyer that mot of the boks should be from the sharks and stormers-

Spoes- Does not contribute enough as a forward- show pony

- Werner Kruger= crap

- Morne Steyn= Way out of form. Grant in his place

- Kirchener- at best an average super15 player- not bok material
