I know the youth brigade are never going to report this, but for the sake of good order, these are the facts. Cuthbert's try started with Serfontein missing Cuthbert just outside the 22 and ended with Cuthbert running over Steppie for the try...a rare rugby twofer.

You are missing the point. To build a team that can beat everyone you need youth and experience. Not just experience.Victor Matfield is currently the only 73y-o playing top tier rugby. The rest that are not far behind like Bakkies and those a like wont be there forever. They cant be.To become a champion side we need to racially change the way we do things. The All-Blacks will succesfully beat us this year and successfully defend the Web-Ellis trophy next year.

Part of the problem is that like Nzlnd we need to bring in a policy of only selecting home based players.I have no problem with people trying to earn more money but then that also has to come with a price.

The team on Saturday lloked sluggish, tired and out of shape.Taking in to consideration the performance a week ago. This was a shocking showing.Shocking.If they aim to win by one point then that is shocking.Shocking.

We can do better.there is all ways room for improvement. This team needs an overhaull.New ideas, new legends and fresh thinking. We need a new "Matfield" and a new Habana and a new "Smit" type leader.

But you know you will carry on in your way of thinking just like other posters here are a bit of a gramaphone.Playing the same old tune.Over and  over and over and over and over again.

Well we select only home based players in the S15, how is that working out for you? We test our running rugby in the 7s, how is that working out for you? And we tested our youngsters in the junior final...they couldn't tackle.
Here's the thing. We do best at international level with mature teams that emphasize a controlled game. HM knows that, Jake white knows that and Christie taught that.
Maybe if you want running rugby you should support the ABs who play that kind of game better than anybody else. For me, I think we should play to our strengths.

Its not about running rugby and what happened in the JWC final is irelevant. That team let themselves down. They came from behind in the baby-blacks game only to loose in the final. There is nothing any coach can do to stop such a cave in of moral and the same can be said for the current national team.Hyneke Meyer can give all the advice under the sun but if not implemeneted by the players then they will not succeed.

As for running rugby...I believe the Boks have plenty to offer in this arena and it is not only about breaking the line. Most of the things the Nzld do is by perfecting the basics and that involves angled running from the backs.Timing and consistancy.

One of the things the Boks lack most is probably consistancy. Its all ways questionable what "bok" team will turn up on the day.How is it possible that in one game Morne Steyn plays an almost perfect game and in the next he almost could cost us the game. How is it possible that in one game Bismack can handle everything thrown at him and in the next he misses tackles and gets pushed around?

The lack of succes is down to consistancy. We are not clinical about the basics and we try to be flash in areas where we need to keep our head down and do the dirty, slug out the hard work.

All of the above siad can be applied to our super rugby franchises.I believe it is one of only a few things Jake has woprked on at the Sharks.Constantly getting the best out of every individual player.

And just so you know the bok team after 2015 going in to 16 willl look like this.

1)Marcel vd Merwe 2)B d PLessis 3)Coennie Oosthuizen 4)Eben Etzebeth 5) PSDT/Lood de Jager 6)F Louw 7) J du PLessis 8) D Vermeulen 9)Reinach/Hougaard 10)Pollard/Goosen 11) Movovo 12) Serfontein 13) De Alende 14) Hendricks 15) Le Roux

Notice how in that team there is no Matfield,de Villiers,Habana,Du Preez,Alberts,Botha,Steenkamp,Steyn...

The captian will either be Louw or Du plessis.Beast will be on the bench, together with JPP and some other new faces.

B ut if he hit him hard 3 metres out he might have slowed him down enough to get help. So goal line tackles never happen hey Dave? But still it's irrelevant.....if he simply tackled Cuthbert the first time there was no try. He missed him twice in one move.

Arizona I'm more interested in the Bok team now. In 2016 we will have a new coach and several players will emerge you havent even registered.  But if you are so smart tell me the value of the Pound in 2016.

Rubbish Jan missed one tackle all game a that was of no consequence.

And NO player would have stopped Cuthbert going over the line, Jan tackled him well but it was too late, he was going over the line.......he was never in a position to tackle him 3 metres out - geez Moz how bloody obvious is that??

When it comes to your anti players, you do speak the biggest load of rubbish, that is so easily countered

Inconsequential? I guess in your nutty world tries are inconsequential. He missed Cuthbert in the lead up to the try and failed to stop him crossing the line. Those are facts, not pathetic attacks on the players age or size. If you want to easily counter them, deal with the facts...old chop.

I will watch our for that try and see whether Serfontin as really to blame.  I know you inbented things at times to discredit players you do not like - and smell a rat in this case as well.  The game is to be broiadcasted again in about an hour's time and have to watch out for Matfield as well.
I will comment on this after watching the game again.

In all honesty, there were two missed tackles before Serfontein got to him, IIRC. In addition, the entire balls-up started when Willie, for  once, stuffed up an up and under. From there on, there was a scrum, which saw the attack being launched.

Ceradyne don't you mean Fourie Du Preez overran the defensive line after a Welsh scrum where there was a huge gap for Cuthbert to run into and offload to Roberts. So Serfontein is not at fault for Roberts try so don't even try to blame him, you'll be wrong.

Oh and Moz, Du Preez should have helped Serfontein against Cuthbert but didn't react quick enough.
Judging by the Roberts and Cuthbert try it seems that Du Preez could have prevented them both but didn't. He is still the best SA'n scrumhalf but his defence isn't the best.

For the Roberts try, that was a massive gap of first phase between the forwards and the backs. Only FDP was covering, but it was far too much space for one player to cover.
Where were the loose forwards?
Morne should have been closer to allow PDF to stand closer to his forwards, and the loose forwards should have closed that gap anyway.

Serfontein got snapped by the pole when trying to tackle Roberts .
Cuthbert's try could have potentially been stopped by Serfontein. Delande or JDV may have been strong enough to push him back in the tackle by tackling high

Well The Roberts try was an almost impossible situation....but he should have gone low like last week....that was the only chance. The opposite is true for the Cuthbert try ....having badly missed the initial tackle on Cuthbert Serfontein had a chance to redeem himself....but he had to go high that close to the line and attack the ball.

The fact that Serfntetin is one of a num,ber of missed tackles on Cuthbert - I really am surprised that the whole responsibility is suddnly heaped on Serfontein for that try being scored.  Serfontein was in fact in the worse possible position to make that tackle.
Then suddenly he had to go high - when you normally preach that Engelbrecht has to fo low under similar conditions and was wrong in going high.   I know Serfontein is one of your pet hates - but please stick to the truth in future.

Their is a time to tackle high and a time to tackle low.
If someone is close to the line you need to go high otherwise his momentum is sure to take him over the line.
Tacking high is the best way to hit someone back

The truth Scumbag is exactly as I've  described it. The tackle on Roberts was a difficult tackle from behind that had to be made immediately and low. The first tackle Serf missed on Cuthbert was a standard head on tackle ( I'm sure you have totally missed it) and the best chance to snuff out the move. The tackle near the line on Cuthbert, again head on , had to be a smother tackle....he couldnt afford the tackled player to fall forward. There you have it Scummie...rugby101.
Your accusations that other people are lying when you haven't made your case stick once....are laughable you old fool

Actually I'm doing both, at least I'm building. Prices have strengthened, but are still below the peak in most markets and interest rates are low. So, unlike the stock market, the potential is still significant.
But the upper ranges are weak and a lot of the rust belt looks to continue to be weak. As I recall you are in the South East...a better proposition.
It's a guess, but on balance I'm a buyer if the time horizon is 7 years or more.

Biggest load of shit I have read in a long time, Serfontein missed Cuthbert deep in the Welsh own half, plenty of rugby took place thereafter before the try was scored......so for a start, blaming Jan for the try that early on in the passage of play is complete and utter rubbish.

Jan tackled Cuthbert well on the line - NO player would have stopped Cuthbert from scoring that try in those circumstances. Jan was never in a position to tackle him 3 min from the line as Moz would have us believe he could have done - what a load of rubbish

About as accurate as JJ being blamed for the Barrett try and Marcel v/d Merwe being owned in the scrums against the Lions - load of rubbish

Mozart is as per normal inventing reasons to try and belittle Serfontein - it is an old habit of his.  If he does not like a player - anything goes - if he likes a player he will duck and dive to get around bugger-ups by that player.  See his excuses when it comes to Morne Steyn and his flops on Saturday as an example.

Getting your knickers in a  knot because I mentioned a mistake by Willie Le Roux, are you? The fact is that he did stuff up and up and under that he would, 99 times out of 100, have taken with the greatest of ease, and that was what the scrum was for, from where the try was scored. In addition, I have also mentioned elsewhere, that there were other missed tackles leading to the try. Your problem is that you saw Willie and then saw red. Thing is though, that I was actually commenting on Saffex' remark that Serfontein's missed tackle was of no consequence.
