Reportedly Dagg got injured in a training run. Reports are saying this is the likely AB backline now.
15. D Mckenzie 14. B Smith 13. R Crotty 12. SBW 11. R Ioane 10. B Barrett 9. A Smith

Bugger!Oh well one door closes and another opens eh !

I see you still can't decide on your backline.
How much longer are you going to chop and change like this?
Nonu and Smith retired from test rugby in 2015. This should have been put in place ages ago.
Has Hansen been hanging around Coetzee in the off season?
He seems just as confused.

Hate to break it to you. But that's been 90% of the backline since 2015. I would worry more about your selections lol.

There's no saving us 3K. Stupidity is running rife in our camp. Has been for near on a decade.
So McKenzie's been playing at 15 has he? Savea hasn't been part of the mix since 2015, right? Crotty has been a regular pick at 13, huh? ... and Ioane has chalked up exactly how many caps on the wing since 2015?
Could have sworn I saw a different All Black backline run on just the other day.
My mistake

David Havilli is great to watch, beat the second highest number of defenders in Super Rugby this season: -61. Also best run of the season ,against the Bulls, ran through whole team. Also a 60m kick to boot.

No I'm saying sbw and Crotty has become the incumbent centre pairing. With Anton. B Smith has played RW before. So I'm not disagreeing that it's a makeshift. With the abs though. Anyone can swap, around. And nothing changes. Where as with books. I'll be more worried more. No clear ten. No clear scrumhalf. Abs clear tight five in Sam, Brodie, Kaino, Cane, and Read, Boks? I don't know.

Turncoat you saw a different AB backline because Smith and Crotty were injured, Dagg was not injured and SBW was banned....do try to stay current.

CleanCut is stupid enough to not understand that all players have to retire at some point.Usually after a world cup, it is the best time to start blooding new players to peak for the next world cup.
Also, the All Blacks do allow players sabbaticals- which also helps to allow players to peak for World Cups.

That does it-----I'm dusting the cob webs off my boots and making another comeback.
I've had a quiet word with Stevie-->Savea back at wing, Smith to remain at FB and I come off the bench for Smith.

Well I hope you do better than I did recently Bro , had a crack at golden oldies recently and ended up with a torn meniscus !I blame Moz for promoting older sportsmen and making us old and bold types have a crack hahaha! Now I'm just the ruggerd and buggerd !

Fekitoa, Moala, SBW, Crotch, Laumape, Aso, Savea, Naholo, Milner-Skudder, Jordie Barrett, Perenara, Aaron Smith, B Barrett, Dagg, Ben Smith, McKenzie, Anton Lienert Brown, Ngatai and Cruden are but a few names brought into the backline over the last 2 years.
I would hardly say that's settling down. Looks more like a coach not being sure of what he wants.
I'm sure there are a few names I've missed.
Also something to take note of is that many have been tested in different positions.
Dagg at 15 and then suddenly on the wing. Same goes for Ben Smith. The midfield in particular has had an assortment of different players since Nonu and Smith retired.

Hi Cloudy
Bro Wardad, sorry to hear about your meniscus. Don't know what sidestep you were attempting bro--me I just stick to the old maori sidestep LOLS noone gets hurt except the opposition ---I guess with the golden oldies rule of No Tackling, that makes it difficult
