All I know is that JJ was defensively better than Jean in the tests against NZ and Oz last year.......for me that is more than good enough given Jean's standing as a test centre.
His defence was one of the worst in last years S15, this year it is one of the best .......thats the mark of a player who has learnt the art of defending at 13.
As for Adi, well he was just piss poor, even worse than de Jongh.......he was not called revolving door for no reason!

Not even close Dave.....JJ made 78 percent of his tackles....over the same 9 tests JDV made 57 of 62 tackles or 92 percent. No wonder you always come to the wrong conclusion when you are operating with the wrong facts. Over to you to now admit JDV was waaaaaaay better than JJ on defence.

Huh.......Moz I think you need to revisit the stats.......I said JJ was better than Jean defensively against Oz and NZ.......the two best sides SA played against. Thats 4 tests........try again
