What's your thoughts on fronting with 4 quicks and dropping the spinner? I see more value in a high quality zip zip attack than fronting with so-called spinners. Just my opinion.

Denny

I believe it depends entirely on the pitch.  Some pitches suit spinners very much and they could be affective.   There could be problems in Johannesburg tomorrow - it rained virtually evry day during the past week and the pitch could end up being problematic.

Am with you, its just a pity JP is injured for that would have been the perfect solution.

Must admit when I first saw Kleinveldt I concluded he would not make it as I did Philander, I was wrong again

Saf, Kleinveldt did not really convince anyone at the time of his inclusion. He did well in the domestic stuff, but TBH he looks a bit overweight and unfit for a fast bowler. Surprised me as well, but we must keep in mind that we played NZ, and they are fighting to keep ahead of Zim and Bangladesh!

He wasn't too bad in the last outing against Oz, but he has got a lot to prove still.

Yeah I'd prefer to see de Lange there but he is only just back from injury I hear.
