The Boks have often had strong defences going into WCs, but this time around, the Boks are looking quite vulnerable. Last season, the Boks had the lowest tackle success rate of all top 12 nations. It was sub 80% over the entire season. The All Blacks reaffirmed that the Bok defence is going backwards. A systematic problem compounded by personnel who are not proficient at making on-field decisions. Passive reactivity is the flavour of this Bok side. Fortunately, defence is the quickest element to remedy, but are they going to do it? The coaching team seem to favour a micro-light backline that cannot combat tight defences and physicality. They also favour weak defenders in the forwards. We didn't look good throughout 2019, and this year, we look much worse, with a significantly more challenging schedule. Perhaps the hardest of any Bok WC campaign!

Against OZ there was glimpses of maybe something new….but on the other hand OZ was not playing close to there best Rugby….our defence was not good against them either and against AB it imploded …Besides our defence our Forwards are struggling and in need of Fresh Power .

Rather lose to them now than in a RWC knockout match...we were more than just competitive.

The Boks were bumblers in a poor-quality test. Stop kidding yourself Draad. I know you want the Boks to be the be all and end-all of rugby, but your hero Erasputin has made the Boks so poor that the 2003 side would wallop this bunch of pretenders.

This was a test to decide the RC.

Yes...a decider and a poor show after little rugby for 2 months...poor, but enough positives not to be in "sak en as"...we can see what must be fixed...stop with the doom and gloom, it's not there.

I’m gloomy because we just blew the RC.. for no reason. This time the travel burden was on NZ, we had ample time to prepare. Our coaches are adding nothing at this stage…the senior players are providing the tactics. And when they are off we are bankrupt.
PdV must be experiencing deja vu.

BWHAHAHAHAHAHA. Our two most negative posters are at it again. Even when we won the RWC these two were whining away day after day. Now the cant see anything positive. The Boks are doomed they wail.

The defensive problems if they are there, cant be fixed they moan. Bear in mind that the wee abs after that 20 minute blitz didn't score again till late in the second half.

We had one legitimate try disallowed and another must have been extremely close.  Aside from those first 20 minute after which we sorted ourselves out the wee abs defense was no better than ours.

And no dropping and knocking the ball forwards in the first 20 minutes is actually not the coaches fault loons! Hahahahahahahaha

Man up please it embarrassing!

Hahahahhahahahahahaha

Same old we was robbed argument…..instead of holding our coaches to account. A loser mentality.

POSSIBLE legitimate try Hasbeeno. Neutral TMO obviously put it in the PROBABLY NOT category so suck it up Big Boy! He also ruled Willie’s pass to Kolbe as NOT forward, so I’d keep quiet if I was you. Fat chance……

Keep living in a fantasy world Mooooo. Very little things made a big difference. What happened to you guys after 16 minutes.

Face facts the Boks being fast asleep for 16 minutes made you look far better than you are.

Old Blobbrain apparently lives in nz but likes to pretend HE IS ONE OF US. Blobbrain you are now a kiwi bird brain and they can take all the credit for your weird and wonderful nonsense. It's only fair as many years ago you were fine but since living in nz you have gone one way and that is down.

I give nz all the credit. Hahahahahaha.

The Bok defence now ranks bottom of the rugby championship, so too their scrum, lineout. We are not learning from last season!
