Delande has become the new Morne Steyn. A player that makes watching the Springbok pattern of play boring. A bit like a song that was OK for a while, and now it is just overplayed to death.

Willemse was a breath of fresh air getting a few chances at inside centre, which seems like his best position.
The backline looked much more creative on attack, and the outside wingers were getting more chances.
Willemse can pass very well, and it is relatively unique for a Bok team to have such as creative player at 12. That long pass to Mapimpi was not something we see often from centres in the professional era.

At his best Delande is very good with all the attributes to be a good player- except a long pass. He can offload, make good short passes, and sidestep, and he is one of the strongest backline players in world rugby able to smash through defences.

Sounds great, but at his worst, he destroys any thought of using the outside backs.
He goes into wrestler mode where he just wants to run at people, with little thought.

Some days he just goes off the boil, and looks slow and ponderous just taking the worst possible options. Often he just walks up slowly, and gets gang tackled. .

Tackling has always been an issue, but for a while, it seemed he has solved that problem, but now it is back. He misses many key tackles that lead to tries.

He has killed many overlaps this year to use the outside backs. His kick passes are a joke. He only seems to be able to pass left, and short pop passes. Often he struggles to draw a player and straighten the line before passing.

When he gets tackled, his upright position without leaning his shoulder is not good for protecting the ball, and he is not very good at making the ball available in the ruck when he is tackled. He is conceding turnovers or delivering a slow recycle.

The opposition are waiting for him to carry it up, where is often isolated by running away from the forwards. The 2nd tackler just goes for the ball as Delande is battling to gain a few extra millimetres.

Good point, that is why we need to move away from the bomb squad and go back to a 7 / 3 split bench.

I would far rather see Edterhuizen at 12, Willemse at 10. Pollard on the bench.

Moodie can cover both wing and 13

Truth be told ... the chumps that are available for Bok selection today are talentless bozos in comparison to yesteryear.

When we have to decide between a Willie, a Gelant and. a Williemse for fullback ... in comparison to a Joubert, a Montgomery or a Heunis  ... shame, how the mighty Bok has fallen.

Give me the players of yesteryear any day.

Tired of the today's pretenders.

Bark, you are so fucking lost I could only read 50% of that shit. Morne was at least a fucking record breaker even if he was one dimensional... De Lindy is shit and was always fucking shit. The fucking douche nozzle has a lower try ratio than Steenkamp for fuck sakes! Willemse ain't gonna be your saviour either... they're all shit... CC hit the fucking nail right on the motherfucking head... the Blocks of today just don't fucking cut it. It's like deciding if you drown in piss or suffocate in shit.... what a great choice. Willemse is a hopeless twat.. but you ficking idiot yarpies think the space the Kiwis gifted you on the outside means you fucking turned a corner... well, news flash... you didn't! You don't ficking learn that easily do you, huh? Well... here's the reality of the situation... you finally got a smart coach after all these fucking years but now you have the shittest pool of players since fuck knows when. Now you have to play a shitty ball control game because if anyone has to fuccking think the whole thing turns to shit. Look at the last test... low numbers for passing but high numbers for running into open space.. don't you fuck ever get tired of your dicks??? The Kiwis defended passively because they knew they couldn't attack hard and defend hard at altitude... so they gave up the outside gap and trusted their scramble defence to hold you off and have enough attack in them with a more balanced attack to win the game. You arrogant fucks never think... so now cry for more of the same shit... it's like that 2013 Ellis Park test, you dopey cunts thought you had it all, but you couldn't see what the fuck was going on. Well... I'm here to be your reality check. It'll stand the test of time!

I see Delande has been selected again today... there are a few permutations if/when he goes off.

Frans Steyn and Jantjies are sure to get a run.

Frans Steyn may go to inside centre
Although they may still be considering Frans Steyn as a fullback.

Willemse may move to 12 in the 2nd half.

Gelant might get a run at fullback if Willemse is shifted to inside centre. Or Fran Steyn might move to fullback if Willemse goes to 12.

Jantjies will probably replace Pollard, so unlikely Pollard will be at 12 in the 2nd half.
It could be a combination of Jantjies and Willemse at 10/12. If they are both in form it could get expansive.

Hopefully, Jantjies is back in form. He is good for a running game when in form.
Jantjies will be on the flight to the world cup that is certain.

So Australia has gone for a 6/2 split. They have lots of unknown players in their forwards, so might be the next generation of forwards - or just short-term placeholders that need an extra forward to match the Boks.

Hopefully, Willemse will go to 12 sooner than later. Although just have to see where Frans Steyn features when he gets onto the pitch

Duh Allende must be a zombie now.

Can't pass, can't tackle, can only trundle.

Many of us have been calling for DDA to be out of the side ages ago. Finally it appears that his supporters, are coming around to the realisation that the donkey wasn’t ever what they thought he was. Haha best 12 in the world…can you imagine!!!???

I hope the Boks are watching the Arggies, more passion in a single player vs the entire Boks team. It’s a genuine mess folks.
