Welcome to the board Jauzy19! We are quiet at the moment for various reasons.

As for the French and NH gnerally. They cant play rugby so they snap up SH players at every opportunity!

Dewaldt is still a young payers so I am sorry he is leaving the Stormers - my team.

Who do you support?

I support Toulouse. I'm well known in a lot of forums all over the world. I had a previous account here "jauzy19" (without the point) but i can't find my password.

Two questions for you jauzy19:

Do you think all these imports are benefitting French rugby?

Secondly in the World Cup final who do you think played the better rugby?

Yes i'm french.

First question : my answer is clearly no. I'm for a drastic limitation of foreign players. IMHO each club should be allowed to sign a maximum of between 5 and 7 foreign players but under the European Union rules it would be illegal. I think the priority of our clubs should be to develop young local talents and with all those foreign signings french rugby is getting boring to me.

Second question : we all know that this WC was a joke. It was politics, not sport. NZ had to win it. You won't like it but it was the same thing in 1995. Political pressures and corruption are unacceptable in a professionnal world.

The Southern Kings have signed 4 overseas players forthe Super 15 but are only in fact allowed 2. Few of our sides have foreign players. The Sharks as you know had Freddie Mischalak. One or two max in my book.

I thought the French outplayed the abs and got a raw deal from our Craig Joubert. Our nz guys here wont accept that.

As for 1995 I cant see what was rigged. There was the susie excuse by the abs but nothing else I am aware of. In fact in the final Reuben Kruger scored a definte try that wasnt allowed. Game should never have gone into extra time.

I agree though that the recent wc was a farce.

Um, there was the semi-final in 95 that the French were robbed blind in...one of the greatest injustices in rugby history.

The ref was Derek Bevan. He disallowed us 3 tries, all of those 3 tries should have been aworded. Moreover the SA try should not have been aworded. After the tournament he received a nice present from the SARU : a gold watch.

For the Kings i sent a tweet to Virgile Lacombe 2 days ago about the situation of foreign players. He told me that he had guarantees that 4 foreign players would be allowed by SARU.

jauzy I also watched the game and do not recall all that stuff. I only recall one incident and that was near the end of the game where France came close to scoring but did not.

Welsh refs do not favour our sides. Gold watch hardly anything that special - probably find others refs also got one asa thankyou for officating. Are you making up a big story here?

Anyhow to me the worst ref ever was Bryce Lawrence. Thankfully although made nz ref of the year he is off the IRB panel and will not even ref super 15 rugby this coming year. Bwahahahhahahaha

It wouldnt surprise me if SARFU buckled re the queens and allowed them having 4 foreign players. SARFU could be sued if the queens are too weak to compete.

Baboon-ou:  what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this forum is now dumber for having read it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul

This is precisely the image of you I have in my head when I attempt to digest one of your posts...

Jauzy19

Welcome to this loony bin.   Insofar as French club rugby is concerned I also support Toulouse.

I want to ask you a question about Toulouse rugby.  Steenkamp is playing for Toulouse - how do you people rate him as a prop?

Forget about the rubbish oif poi-e - you will find he or she is a complete dumbass.

I think France is building up a good team and think they have an excellent chance of winning the six-nations tournament.   By the way I generally support France - but there was a funny incident in Montpellier before the SA game there in 2007.   I went to the stadium fairly early and had some beers in a tavern nearby.   Argentina was playing France in the previous game and while in the bar French there ask me why I support Argentina so strongly.   I took some real explanation from me - I told them that If France wins - SA will end up having to play France in the semi-final and I did not really like that one.   If France loses they would have to beat New Zealand in the quarterfinals and if successful will have to play either Australia or England in the semi-final.   As it turned out they beat New Zealand in the questerfinaks and ended up having to play England in the semi.

South Africa would have had an easy ride through to the final - having to play Fiji and Argentina on the way through to the final.

Steenkamp is usually very good but he has had some injuries and he can't play more than 3 or 4 games in a row. He was MOTM in the last Top 14 final where he destroyed his opposite prop, we won this title thanks to him.

Interestng thoughts on Steenkamp - thank you very much.   There is one thing though - and that is that the older players get - the more frequently they bcome injured and the longer it takes for them to recover.   Steenkamp is ot a spring chicken - so I think he will ptobably fade out gradually.

Steenkamp MOTM again today in Toulouse's victory 18-16 against Castres away. Very good scrummager, powerful and everywhere on the ground. He wasn't so good in november and december due to little injuries but he seems to be back now.

Gary Botha has been crap, he does't make us forget Servat who is obliged yo play again sometimes. Botha is a decent hooker but he's no Servat material and i think we can find in France a lot of hookers who as good as him  for less money.
