Not sure how that translates into Afrikaans,..but maybe SA could take a leaf out of the Tongan handbook- the Tongan league team currently kicking butt at the RLWC calls itself Mate Ma'a Tonga ( Die for Tonga)...
Or maybe take inspiration from the historical badass NZ faced at Galipoli , Turkish commander Mustafa Ataturk who famously told his troops i am not ordering you to fight, i am ordering you to die..

But s omeone needs to light a fire under the Springboks team with France looming large...can't see the soft spoken Coetzee being capable of any fire and brimstone speeches... but somebody needs to start throwing stuff around the dressing room ,pull a few doors off their hinges, start breaking sh!t and tell them they're playing like pussies..
More effective still, in the Roman times was the practice of decimation -a great motivator of men..

Die for South Africa, ya must be mad Brycy.  South Africa as it is run by the corrupt, self serving racist anc is nothing to die for. These twits are messing up big time. Brycy ya old nutter you are missing the mark badly on this one.

@Brycy, the last phrase of the Afrikaans version of the old SA Anthem (The Call of South Africa) was: Ons sal lewe Ons sal sterwe Ons vir jou Suid-Afrika That part of the official English version goes: At thy will to live or perish Oh South Africa dear land Google Translate converts the Afrikaans into English like this: We will live, We will die, We for you South Africa So yeah, there is something similar to the Tongan phrase and as youngster we knew that by heart. Sadly, things have “moved on”, so to speak.
