Do you all hate each other?

Plum in the beginning we were all like you. After time, I think this maybe the routine for blogging buddies..... Their is polarised opinions that develop over time.Some of the posters one this board know each other for over 10 years from various blogging sites.

Its all part of the game -  I do not think anybody really hates other members.   Do not get upset about the tome of the comments of some members.
Some membrs starts a rugby thread and it deteriorated the moment some members cannot rpove their point constructively.  
I normally have differences of opinion with Mozart, Ceradyne and Gonzo because their rugby views are diamtrically different forom mine.    However, most of my posts are written to cause controversy and discussion.
If we all agree on all topics - this Boiard will die tomorrow.  Controversy makes it thrive. 
My advice is stick as much as possible to rugby issues and stick to your guns.  

Mike that's the first sensible post you have made in years.  

 Plum we have tried to be civil to one another but it's boring. Our rugby passions dictate and none of us are ever wrong.
Don't take any of it to heart for at the end of the we all mean sweet stuff all to one another

Plum, welcome to the board - some might call it the insane asylum, lol There is a fair amount of "banter" but there is some rugby talk even if it is expressed a little over zealously sometimes. Your posts make good reading so I hope you don't abandon ship.
PS watch out for that guy Beeno, lol He appears to know a bit about rugby but you know what they say about appearances.

 Us Kiwis are all pretty good to each other in here , not quite so much on the old ABS.com forum .Its funny at times to watch the saffas going hammer and tongs at each other .Plum you seem like a decent sorta guy my advice to retain your level headed sanity is to check out the knitting forums ,like soccer its skilful and even old ladies can do it but I hear they are hard on the macrame crowd ! Or Mr Plum you can come over to the Darkness , theres very little hair tearing out angst involved [ just check out the marvellous heads of hair on us ABS supporters !]We got yer luuuurve right here !

Rugby is a testosterone driven sport. It's physical and at times verbally abusive. It also has the high kicking cheerleaders (Lara and becs - wish they would show us a little more with those high kicks) but none the less they definitely bringing a little class to the field.

It's not a sport for sissies ... and neither is this board.

The best damn forum on the planet, by some way.

The various characters you find on this board all make it that way and you my friend have added your own special flavour.

It now seems that Ed's decided to join the party by upgrading the whole set up making it even better.

Honestly, i have found lots of insightful views on here, and it's good to be able to ask a question and actually get measured responses. As well as dropping my two cents in the piggie bank. Just got the impression there was a torrent of animosity beneath some of it. Not to me, yet hehe.
Reading some posts from the point of view of banter between people who have known each other for some time, iit sheds light on some of  the level of semi-personal attacks that occur. We do sharpen our teeth on those closest to us huh.
It's good to know you all love each other deep down. Makes my lil hippie heart skip a beat. Not really

PS soccer is for the retarded and luckily for me i have passed the chromosome test as well as having avoided serious head injury for the last 34 years. Knitting, now there's a thing. Jumper anyone?

 Mr plum , " No Viet Cong ever called me enigma" now see thats obtuse .Toughest Saffa I have ever seen or met was back in 87 ' and she looked like a wee wrinkly granny with coke bottle glasses .She was an RN going through the mandatory 8 week officer training for direct corps inductees .On the 100m range with the old  7.62 SLR she would put 20 rounds in as many seconds into a 20mm grouping "Mam" says I as her range instructor " where did you learn to shoot like that ???" ."On the farm shooting terrs " says she .She could outrun and out march all bar the instructors even fully tac' [ rifle ammo backpack etc ] over 20k no probs .And she bonked the CSM till he was but a shadow of himself.And could knit a mean scarf too I bet.

I don't think anybody here really hates anybody...well I truthfully don't...we get on each others nerves sometimes but that's because we all have different personalities and backgrounds...some clash, some don't and generally it boils down to misunderstanding.

Some deliberately bait each other like Mike and Mozart...they are an odd couple and are both getting on and dodging coffins and I'm getting there too. They wave their walking sticks at each other in vain but there definitely is a love/hate relationship between them and they would be lost without each other.

Well, that's what I believe.

Safex can be a good chappie too but gets baited because he reacts in no uncertain terms.

My father said when we were wee lads that never take notice the wrong way when others tease and bait you...in most cases it's because they either like you or are a little envious or jealous...so it's not serious...just laugh with the world and it invariably will laugh with you. You do get the bent and twisted as well but rather turn the other cheek and pity them...try to this without looking down or hurtful scorn.

All in all it boils down to respect...if you want respect give it but never flatter anybody...it's got to be sincere.

Knowing what we know about Saffex and becs, anyone with half a brain and access to Facebook shouldn't have too much trouble finding a pic of becs. 
She's far from hideous, quite the opposite actually.

Rooitwit ya halfwit try and read between the lines. Becs wants the some oaks here and especially the Romeos ou Maaaikie and more recently wee rooitwit to think she is hideous. Getting a glimmer! Dont go and blow her cover. 
Well said there CC. This is a great board but we have a problem. Before the masses flock here the very few of us who know something about rugby need to educate the oaks who don' t and especially the kbbs - a formidable task.
