What is infuriating to see is all your talent wasted with a no nothing coach and a predatory NH .

The circus will continue.....performance centres, assistant coaches to bolster up incompetent head coaches....youngsters who haven't paid their dues. The sad, flatulent circus that's already issuing threats to Oz....that believes there is a magic solution out there. .. We will not make real progess until we have a hard nosed, relistic coach who coaches to our strengths not some rugby ideal aped from watching NZ rugby.

Well ... we can at least put to rest the quality of Etzebeth's captaincy now.

He couldn't rally the troops. His only contribution on the field is to decide whether to go for poles, take a scrum, of try to win territory with touch kicks.

Any fool can do that. He's no captain.

I suspect Kolisi will be no different.

Whiteley was missed ... as captain and as our 8th man.

"He's no captain."
No he's not. And based on yesterday's performance he's no lineout jumper either . . . or a tackler . . . or a ball carrier.
He does have a very impressive "I-are-so-tough-I-even-smiles-for-you" grin whenever he gets involved in the handbags though. I'll give him that much.

You South African’s write about the need to pick non-White players in the Springboks being the reason why your rugby is so dismal. Face reality and accept that many of your Black and Coloured players are more athletic, faster, stronger and have more instinctive rugby skills than your White players. Indeed, without many of your non-White players in the current Boks your rugby would be even more tragic. I think you should consider introducing a Race Quota of no more than say 5 White players per Bok team, to better ensure more high-quality Black and Coloured players strengthen your side, and the ‘pretenders’ such as the overrated Etsebeth, become the ‘token’ players. Yes, I'm joking, but it's worth a thought! The real problem is the ‘boff-head’ Boer factor. There's no dexterity to the way you play the game. Your game is living in the long-past delusional glory days of when big Boer boff-heads smashed the opposition by their size and power. Damn all skill required, just a Trvmp or Beano like stupidity. And your results at home were enhanced by the dishonesty of your referees. It's not just professional rugby that found out the chink, or more correctly the chasm, in South African rugby’s abilities, its also the advent of neutral referees. You can no longer depend upon your own former dishonest referees making the dreadful ‘home’ game decisions they use to regularly do. The reason so many South Africans have left South Africa is due to the the crime and dishonesty that is sadly rampant within your nation. And don't fool yourselves to believe its only because of the dishonesty of Blacks and Coloureds, when dishonesty is also endemic within White society. In your dreadfully shameful Apartheid days the dishonesty displayed by Whites in all parts of your society was incredible. A nice Rolex for a ref as a “thank you” was no big deal in those ‘good-old-days’. Sadly, until all your teams start playing like the Lions Super Franchise now does, then your rugby is doomed to continue to be dismal. Not only has rugby changed dramatically but so has the world. Sadly, many White South Africans are too thick to see either change has occurred. I know Has-Beano is simply a sad pathetic loser, and that he's not a reflection of many younger White South Africans. But his pretend to be a Christian, when his heart is full of vitriol and hatred, is also seen in many of the huge number of South Africans who have made their home in New Zealand. He's a sad, pathetic anachronism of days gone by that will never return. He truly is a Has-Been and almost certainly he's a Never-Been. He's a tragic non-event. And to help his sadly delusional memory, since the 1981 Springbok tour of New Zealand there have been 59 NZ v Bok test matches and the Boks have only won 16. For many of those years there was no race quota. The facts are the facts or as Nick Mallet said: ‘Meanwhile, former coach Nick Mallett almost felt sorry for the Boks, who were completely out of their depth against the World Champions’.  “Criticising this Bok team is like clubbing a baby seal. The poor guys are defenceless,” Mallett said. “The scrums were a shambles in the second half, the lineouts didn’t go well in the first half. The replacements didn’t make an impact. The scramble defence was nowhere. The first-up defence got worse and worse as the game progressed”.  “There isn’t enough leadership in this team at the moment and certainly not enough skills. Not one Springbok would make the All Blacks side.”  In summary of the game: 57 - highest score and margin by All Blacks against Springboks (Previous: 57-15, Durban, 2016) 31 - most points and biggest margin at half-time by All Blacks against Springboks 9 - years since All Blacks blanked South Africa (Previous: 19-0, Cape Town, 2008) 107 - Tests since South Africa last scored zero (see above) 8 - years since New Zealand lost at home to South Africa 5 - wins in a row by New Zealand over South Africa Yep, once every 5 or 6 games the Boks may fluke a win against the mighty All Blacks. And even for a proud Kiwi like myself, for the sake of rugby, that's damn sad.

The situation is that we should no take note of the junk the polluters write on this site.  It represents stupidity beyond believe.    The fact is the team selection is a joke and take no real cognition of actual talent and performance.

Hopefully, the night is darkest before the dawn.
The Boks and SA super rugby teams have admitted that the 10 man rugby that has been played needs to be complemented by a 15 man game as well.
10 man rugby works- but it is dependent on forward and territory domination. The Boks have not done this for a long time. Too much of the game is played in our own half, which negates kickable penalties in the opposition half, as well as setting up lineout driving mauls in the corner.
Our coaching has been left in the dust, but at least some are trying to learn.

Etzebeth is no tackler says the plank Urinal....but he makes all 9 of his tackle attempts, but Urinal favourite Stephanie makes 4 of 7. Hilarious.
