Doping case not over for Carter.

Then and Now.... Dan Carter in his early years.The French Anti-Doping Agency has called Dan Carter to appear before them for the use of corticosteroids.
Carter was investigated by the medical commission of the French Rugby Federation (FFR) after he tested positive for corticosteroids after the Top 14 final last season.
Although they were cleared in October last year, as was the club’s medical staff, but the Anti-Doping Agency (AFLD) president Bruno Genevois told AFP the dossier will be reviewed and that a possible revision of the decision to clear them can be made by the FFR’s medical commission.
But FFR president Bernard Laporte played down the significance of the players appearing before the Agency.
“It’s not because they think there’s a fault,” Laporte said.
“On the contrary, the more transparency there is, the better. They’re doing their job, they have the right to check. You can’t be scared of that. At Toulon, we were tested six times in one year.
“We have nothing to hide. They’ll get to the bottom of things. They want to delve deeper, end of story. If they do it, it’s because they have their reason.”
After being cleared by the FFR, Carter is said to be taking his case to the public prosecutor after confidential medical records were made public by media.
