There were some famous people borne or brought up in Riversdale - Mozart's father being one. The writer Lanhenhoven being another, But then there were also being infamous people like Carl Niehaus AND Willie Hofmeyer and Ex-Presidents Botha's first wife.
However, Dr moss was a top class gentleman admitted by many.
