 Mate, truth be told, the Lions are an excellent Team and worthy to be Finalists. They have my respect. I expect a very strong Boks side this year.

 Dunno what the Lions had at halftime but they were disappointing in the second half ..... jetlag, lack of altitude or Susie from Porirua got to their oranges ?

If not the Mighty Chiefs I am more than happy to see the Canes make it a full house for NZ .It was always a hard row to hoe for the Lions given how no team has won a playoff or finals game in NZ [bar Kiwis of course !] and only the Saders have won an away final [ should have been 2 of course !] and NZ teams do not give up long held streaks .

 Congrats to the Canes. Well done....and well done to the Lions for a great match in not so great conditions. IMO it was way closer than the score sugests.

Unfortunately I expect our quota coach to pick some useless quota players and so ruin the Boks chances. Nevermind about coaching and strategy!

 Agreed Bob but one cant be too hard on Akkers and co they skinned the other SA sides and many nz sides as well. Travel, weather and ref all counted against them and certainly luck was not on their side today

 Beendik has had to find ways of coping with the constant stream of losses to NZ [ or Ireland ,Japan ,Argentina etc ] by living in his fairytale world where theres always an excuse and he thinks his team has actually won something .Sa d and stupid.

 Bad luck Lions, they had a phenomenal season but the Final just wasn't to be ..... But, if they beat the Jags It could have been different(maybe). 
The Lions will need to create a new game plan next year, other quality sides wont fall for their tactics two years in a row. Canes defence and line speed was wicked!! Hard to attack a team and create space when their isn't any. Well Done Canes!!!
