 What the heck is that?

With all the professional infringements etc by the highlanders this is rich indeed. Also was it bad brad who sailed into mcLeod - off ball incident?

Seems Du Toit is causing kiwi concerns. He was very good I thought. Ready for test rugby.

It actualy means nothing,  Retallick got one for his spear tackle in the Soweto test.   I don't think it really has an impact of any kind on the player concerned.

I must agree with you boys - Du Toit is impressive and I will be very surprised if he does not make the Boks squad! He is certainly better than that other player Beeno has built a shrine to!

Better than Etzebeth? You have to be kidding me hakwa! Let's not forget two things. He was playing against the all  but useless Highlanders. Secondly, last week he got discarded in the tackle for a try and monstered in the pass for another try. He has blown hot and cold so far this season. I would like to see him against a good pack in a key game before making my judgement.

 see Beeno, everyone knows who you've built a shrine to LOL! The Highlanders are tough Southern men Mozzie so which pack would you like him to play against before you give him the all OK? I think he was in the Team that won the U21 RWC wasn't he?

 Moz, guys like Brad Thorn, Andrew Hore, Jared Hoeata and Tony Woodcock, Josh Bekhuis and TJ Ioane all desperate for a win do not make for a "soft" pack.

Thats probably one of the better packs in the competition if you looking at it physicality wise. They have come close on plenty occasions this year but just been on the wrong side of some close games. Not a bad team, just stuck in a rut. Losing, like winning, is a culture!

I'd like to see him against the Bools for example. That's the acid test for an aspiring Bok forward. With all due respect to your tough Southern men...I'd be more convinced by a good game against the Bools. It's no so much the individuals, but the high tempo of their team game.

Steph du Toit was huge again and agreed, he was up against a pack that had some big names in it. Moz you are wrong, he got taken out illegally for that try last week, you cannot be tackled from behind without the ball as he was and he was not monstered at all in that tackle, it was a basic low tackle around the ankles that led to his spilt pass.

He and Etzebeth have to be the Bok lock pair

@beeno1 aka storminged,

an off field yellow is issued to players for foul play incidents that do not warrant red cards.

if the player gets another off field yellow he will be given an automatic red card and be suspended pending a hearing.

if a player gets three off field yellows in a season, then they can also face disciplinary actions, but no ones ever gotten more then one off field yellow as far as i know.

Sasue

I wonder why Retallick did not get an off-field yellow for that left hook of  him in the Rebels game.  That should have let to an automatic red card - ws very softly treated in that case.

 Thanks saSUE but I think its a load of rubbish and they should forget about off field yellows.

Hakwa you mean the poor guy on the receiveing end was not hospitalised? Need a good picture at supposed moment of impact to clear retardlicks bad name.
