There has been a chorus of moans on site about Sacha's performances in the tests he played in this year, So let's look at the following stats:-
Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu reached his record-breaking 9 tries in just 19 Test matches. [1] That must be compared with the 8 tries scored by Pollard who scored 8 tries scored in 86 tests and Morne Steyn's 6 tries scored in 64 matches,
Sacha was out of rugby in the July tests and made his return to the Springboks after an effective absence from playing any rugby since May 2024.
There is one issue I think may help the Springboks even more than is the case at present, - as good as he is at 10 to my mind he would even be more dangerous playing at 13 - where he would have more pace to operate in than he has at flyhalf. An attacking backline with Willemse at 15. Sacha at 13 and Jaden Hendrikse at flyhalf will be a nightmare for any opposition team, Add Hooker on t he winmg and voia - we have adream team when it comes to backline attacking rugby,
