When ireland moved up in the ratings to no 2 in world rugby or dithering old fool wrote on this site that the Irish had a very old team with older players being the key to their performances.

Writes the Perv, but in fact I commented on this issue way back in the Six Nations, not after they were raised in the rankings. So who has the defective/ selective memory....Pervert of course.

They are 28.9 years now and will be 29.5 by the RWC....on average. And they are the form NH team. 

Why are Ireland winning, beating Oz, the Boks and France in recent months? These are tough guys....competitors. They are smart and battle hardened. There are no passengers.

And here we are wringing our hands about a few players in their thirties. Ireland has 5 of them. 

Sure every player over thirty has to assessed for continuing fitness and stamina....but we would be far worse without our experienced players. Time to learn from Ireland.

What comments did you post at the time of the Irish moving up to no 2 in the World rankings - you dithering old fool?  Reproduce that comment and not what you wrote 7 months ago.
