ED, can you fix the problem of the system updating posts with no entry

Hi Ed, right now if I read a post and inadvertent touch the screen in the part where a response is normally typed the system updates the post with a blank entry. I think this occurs even when I hit the Home option. Can you put an edit so that this doesn't happen?

Hi ED, it happens when  I use the laptop. I just now replicated the problem. 

If I just push the submit button it posts a post even though I haven't entered anything. Normally programs have an edit control that doesn't allow a post with no content.
