ED two technical issues

Firstly one comes back to the board and it appears one is logged in. You make a post but get the message to log in. By logging in your post disappears. Sometimes it's a long post full of excellent information for the ignorantboaks

So they often lose out. 

Can this be fixed so that it is clear you are not logged in before attempting to post. 

Secondly if posting via my mobile there is no edit button. When posting on my laptop the edit button is visible.

Can this be fixed

Thanks for keeping this a free speech site even if it means the very frot five can peddle all their drivel on a day basis! In the end it has become comical. Hahahahaha. 

Your logged in session can expire while you're typing. I've also lost many a great message to the ignorant like yourself, Beeno, in the same way. Best is to log out and log back in again before you start typing up a long piece of your nonsensical drivel, especially if you know you've been logged in for almost a day or so.

Pakster the best thing, if you had actually tried very hard to think about it, would be to fix it. 

Ou Pakster struggling with a simple problem. But thanks Pakster for your advice. I have actually done that when I have been away for a significant period this time I wasn't away for that long or so I thought.

I posted a long brilliant piece on Bok ratings and had some suggestions. Great loss to the board!!! 

I suggest it doesn't get fixed as a service to the board. Every piece of your content that gets lost this way is a boon to us all, and my own of course a terrible sacrifice I am willing to make for the greater good.

If doing a big post, or have to step away in the middle of typing I just take a copy so if it does happen just a quick paste and your back in business.

Actually if you just put in your credentials and then  go back you can resubmit your original posting and it goes through.

I try to post the commentI

It tells me then I must log on. 

I can't copy what I have typed on my mobile. Is there a way to do this.

On your mobile stick your finger on the screen (beginning or end) and drag your finger up and across, it will highlight the text as you go. Then let go and a panel will appear with copy just tap it and done.

To paste just hold your finger in the text box for a bit then let go, paste option turns up just tap and your done.

My word old crust actually did something helpful for once. Now he and Pakster need never miss a post if mine due to the problem being solved. A very rich reward for the two no doubt!!!

Old crusts instructions were pretty poor but I figured it out! 

Well I did try to dumb it down to kindergarten speak but it it was a bit below my IQ,  Maybe pedobeeno is finally getting past that stage and ready to sit in with the new entrants at primary school. Well done pedobeeno, you might earn your first gold star.
