Yellow for England early. Might meet red criteria. Cagey affair thus far.

Argies looking to go 6-0 up with a penalty from their half... ...and he misses. Had the distance though

Some bad game management from the Argies...wasting a penalty right on England's line. Going for a weird old school penalty move when a lineout was the call all day. Eng with 14 men and on a warning for a lineout penalty already. Why on earth wouldn't you go to the corner and extract another warning?

A red in world cup is a real damper...the same happened to Pumas in 2019, when Tomas Lavanini fouled up.

Penalise the player harshly by banning and fines but not the team or the spectators. Something should be done to allow a sub.

Those two drops have rattled the Argies. If England go into the half in the lead they'll take a ton of heart from that.

Cheika is a clown. He has the most talented backline in SH rugby, with a good selection of forwards and he can do nothing with them. Rudderless like his Wallaby sides when they hit resistance.

The ridiculous red card has irked me to the point where I barely feel like following the rest of the season. Rugby is a collisions port. Collisions happen. The standard of reffing I've seen the past few years has been some of the worst I've seen ever, in any sport.

Would be nice if Argentine could put 3 phases together. Something ain't right with them here. They just don't look like they have any sort of plan to take advantage of the numerical advantage. Very poor..

Cheika is of the Aussies who love the gas particle offence. Free flowing in any random way. Players often lament the lack of detail and preparation of these kinds of coaches. It's the opposite extreme to Erasputin and the subordinate who does all the work for him.

Yet another boring game that I struggled to stay awake through. Well done to Ford who completely controlled the game with the boot and to build score board pressure. But where did I see a team play like this.

Oh, the boks that got some much criticism for their boring play.

Ford use the exact same tactic the boks use with constantly peppering the wings with cross field kicks where players put pressure on the winger, but didn't kick it too deep.

So many kicks.

Well, when you have a player Like Ford that only skill is to kick, then why bother.

The red card is another thing that is ruining the game. But we'll done for England for changing tactics and playing a smart game

It's shocking how bad the Argies looked. But one should take nothing away from England. It was an uphill I'll battle from very early on and and they rose to the occasion like champs. Let's hope this was the performance they needed to turn things around. Let's also hope that the Argies re-watch how bad they themselves were and pull up their socks. Those droppies...the one from half way!!!??? Ford is probably still awake as we speak.

They did their job and in RWC stages that's what you have to do but it was a lack-lustre mess with Argentina, some players were good but the majority were awful.

Anyway congrats Mr Ford, a splendid display of the boot.

Agree, they did what they needed to do. England solid but not spectacular.

Having someone that can drop kick is great. It will force defending to shoot out of line, but this can also open up space out wide

That one touch-finder off the penalty...from inside his half he put it out less than 5m from the try line. Man was deep the flow. The jersey from that game is for sure gonna be framed passed down the generations in his family.

Eng digged deep yesterday to maintain and get the win they deserved….Well done. The Pumas are not so good at the moment but they will be back….there Rugby since the end of SR has suffered the most as there is not much consistency…..Hope they get better.
