Nice game so far. Smith doing the business for England. First creating a score from nothing and then saving a sure try. 14 point swing for the lad in 5 minutes. Gotta love the chap.

I don't know but this England side are hitting different. The seem way more explosive and intense than we're used to seeing England be.

England camping in the AB half but need to strike soon or suffer the dreaded adrenaline dump. And they lose the ball... Some handbags... Relief for the ABs

ABs kicking for the corner when they could have taken 3. Respect it. And Itoje steals it...England back in the AB half.

People questioned Borthwick's appointment, but he's done something good with this side.

ABs scoring in the corner. Lovely try. Shifting England side to side and finally creating an overlap. Typical AB try.

ABs bring some intensity of their own now. Bow-din spreading it everywhere and to all corners. Great stuff from the Abs

AB scrum putting in the power when it matters and demolishing the English pack in the middle in the field. ABs go for the corner...manage to get a penalty from a scrappy lineout on the English 22. ABs going for three... Mackie... slots it. 24 -17 other ABs with 5 to go

ABs look to have turned it on when it mattered and despite England making a nice break into the AB 22 with 3 mins to go...it looks like "the Fortress" will remain being called such.

Bow-din holding up an all-in mail from England...but the ref looking at it... Obstruction from England is the final call... Great heart from England but bigger heart from the ABs. 24-17 to the ABs. Decent game but like last week, England just couldn't keep it going for 80. Positive signs from them though.

I missed most of the match...England almost scalped us at the RWC, so I suppose they are better than I gave them credit for...

It ws indeed hard luck for the Poms.   There  were.  elements in the AB teasm that was malfunctioning - especially the line-outs were substadard.   The Sp;ringbosk  potential  superity on that component  would  count a lot  in test matches.   With Mostgert playing that superity would be gone.

Maaik...Mostert is a fine player...especially in the line-outs...not as physically imposing as some of our other locks, but still a very good player and proud servant of Bok Rugby over the years...

...and the Allblacks will be a challenge for our Bokke...although both matches are here, it won't be a walk in the park... it will be hard, even for the best Bok team of my lifetime...can't wait.

A noticeable difference between the Boks and the what I saw this morning was the element of explosiveness. The Boks are powerful for sure, with a strong scrum and excellent lineout...but they don't have that sharp aggression in contact. Sharp is the best word I have for it. The English got undone by some bad line-outs, their scrum crumbling at the end, and Smith falling off a touch in the second half...as well as some excellent play by the ABs. But the English pack looked very dangerous. They're much more powerful than I'd assumed, I know I've said it numerous times, but their intensity was great and they played smartly. Ultimately, they ran a settled AB very close in NZ while not being near the finished product. If they continue on this trajectory, they're gonna give everybody headaches.

Mike... How many medals does Mostert have? Which player in the current Bok side has the best win ratio against Kiwi teams(club and All Blacks)? Who does Rassie continue to pick? You can't hide in the pack like you can in the backs. If Mostert was a crap as you and Saffex think he is, he'd have been exposed long ago. But he hasn't, has he? No... Instead, he has formed the most successful lock pairing ever for the Boks alongside Eben. So, go on, give us your stats, or any actual facts, to back up your claim. Or simply accept that you don't like him and your bias has closed your judgement. Your opinions here are becoming irrelevant. Not because they are contrary to those of others but because you never provide ANY evidence to back up things you say\believe. Remember, it doesn't take skill to fart in the wind.

Thanks for saying nice things chaps .

We played a lot better in these two matches than I thought we would and were so close to winning in both Tests.

I’m surprised to say it, but we missed George Furbank today. Freddie Steward isn’t a patch on him in attack or defence really.

And it’s a shame we lost the plot a little in the last twenty minutes or so.

Certainly looking more promising for us these days

And the aura of Eden continues! ABs absolutely hopeless in lineouts and I believe we lost 7 on our own throw. Need to tidy that up quick smart. Beaudie changed the game with his calmness under pressure shining through.
