I do trust the Poms have put togeter a reasonable squad so they can hammer the wee abs again. It doesnt have to be brilliant Poms as the abs are there for the taking.

Could lady Becs please advise us what to expect. And please Becs no blushing false modesty just the facts.

Ex Planet Rugby

Dave Ewers , Henry Slade and Thomas Waldrom are among the additions to England's training squad for the upcoming November internationals.

The Exeter Chiefs trio come in as injury cover for James Haskell (Wasps), Luther Burrell (Northampton) and Billy Vunipola (Saracens).

Burrell is remaining with Saints for specialist assessment on his injured right hand on Monday and Tuesday while Vunipola will undergo the return to play protocol in camp after suffering concussion in Saracens' game at Munster on Friday. Haskell is still getting over a viral infection and, with Will Fraser (Saracens) also suffering a concussion, Ewers comes in.

Ben Foden (Northampton Saints), Matt Kvesic (Gloucester Rugby), Anthony Watson (Bath Rugby) and Richard Wigglesworth (Saracens) will also train with the squad as cover for the players involved in Sunday's European games.

Henry Thomas (Bath Rugby) and Alex Waller (Northampton Saints) have been added as cover for David Wilson and Joe Marler, who have calf and thigh injuries respectively, and will have limited training this week. Both are expected to be fit by the weekend.

Tom Wood has remained in Northampton with his wife pending the birth of their third child and will join the squad later this week.

"We always anticipated bringing in additional players following the European games, either to cover injuries or for training," said England Head Coach Stuart Lancaster.

"Luther will be assessed by a specialist over the next 48 hours and our medics are in close contact with Saints so we'll know more in a few days but it's great to be able to bring in Henry (Slade). Billy (Vunipola) will undergo the return to play protocol with us and will resume training once he has completed that.

"Injuries are inevitable but we are excited about the group we have in camp. We are raring to go and looking forward to getting out on the training pitch tomorrow."

The biggest test for Lancaster is whether he is going to continue with Farrell, he is much in the mould of Morne Steyn, rather predictable yet consistent.

I have heard some good things about Myler, the question is will Lancaster deviate and take a chance?

England last year looked full of running, but their skills let them down badly, their decision making on attack also lacked the smarts to recognise the space.

I think they will be strong opposition to SA, OZ and NZ, it will be interesting to see how things unfold, the best omission from the squad is Ashton, defensively he is a revolving door.

BB can I expect a win or not? How badly are England effected by injuries. I also heard they will be a bit ring rusty?
All this is not a bad thing really. A sucessful tour could cover the cracks so to speak.

The Boks are making all the right noises, I read that de Villiers said they spent time on conditioning and attack, that they are starting fresh, they must win all their matches in November.

My concerns are that Jannie and Beast have not been in brilliant form during the RC, I think they are suffering from fatigue and too much rugby.

So, who is going to be Meyer's front row, or wi ll he continue to play them into the ground?

Vicki must go, but who do you put in his place?

Lood had a great SUper XV, but he wasn't all that hot in the RC, Lewies had one go at the cherry, will Meyer select him? Eben is not in his best form, will he step up?

Who will be the backrow, I worry about Mohoje, but it seems Meyer is now playing the politics as well, as decent as Mohoje is, he is not our best 7.

There are a number of questions to be answered and we will only know when the run on teams are announced.

Are we going to win, I bloody well hope so.

I'm afraid you are barking up the wrong tree with Myler !!!
Farrell is not the player you are painting him at all. He has more attributes than you are giving him credit for, like an ability to tackle, a lovely pass and step. So nothing like Steyn. He has been bedevilled by injury and has had hardly any game time this Season.
Beeno, do you not understand, until I know who is actually fit and firing, and they are dropping like flies still, I cannot tell you more ? !
All I will say is it is a massive concern.

That would be high praise...if I didn't know how little you thought of Morne !

Farrell being compared to Morne is insulting. Farrell has all the attributes of a good fly half plus he brings plenty of physicality to the role.
He is the opposite to useless Morne. Look he is no world beater but he is pretty useful

BB Willemse in for victor - an obvious move but he doesnt even make the squad.Burger will come in for oupa.We could have had Schalk van der merwe coming in for Beast but he is not even selected! We makeour own problems!
Becs I hope England are not going to let me down re downing the wee abs. England B should have won two tests away from home!

As I said, it wasn't the B side, it was a team of boys who were chucked in at the deep end and who will never play together again !
I have no idea what the make up of the team will be.
And I never make any sort of silly claims about my team.I am not looking forward to the Tests, never do.

Just hope we do ok.
