 The Lions tour is the last remnant of old school touring, week games 'n all. 40 man squad. It should be good.

 Can see the Welsh coach Gatland getting a bollocking for favouring too many Welsh players...  

If Hogg is the only Scot and Wales, soundly beaten by Scotland provides 11 players...he has a problem. Surely Richie Gray for example was worth his place,

 ...looks like there could be several notable exclusions such as the England captain Dylan Hartley that brought the mongrel is said to have been o mitted - too much of a liablity
England centre Jamie Joseph and England fullback Mike Brown also said to be dropped
Irish centre Jared Payne could also have been unlucky..

 Moriarty deserves his place. Form 8 of the six nations, probably wont play any of the tests.

 From that list you could bundle together a nice team with elements of experience, flair and youth.  Should be good for some on-field practice for the Kiwis..
