They start another World Cup without convincing props,  Genge and Sinckler are still in there. And George Ford, who was the weakest link in the WC final, is the closer, accompanied by the bungling Van Poorfeet. How can one have any optimism? They needed a coach who was willing to rebuild, not paper over the cracks!

As I’ve been saying, the RWC fills me with dread.

It is a real shame England started to unravel after the World Cup surprise defeat. However, the were like children when the medals were handed out. Refusing to wear it and just walk around sulking the whole time. They played so poorly and the boks played out of their skins. Yet, you just see Farrel moping around. Than in the bronze game. The all blacks had smiles on their faces and thanking the other players. They were just happy to play.

England have got an attitude problem, the haven’t been able to get past their ego. Look at Genge and Marler, appear a lot in the media and more like clowns than anything

The way they play is worse than their personnel. They could still be a threat and are man-for-man good enough to beat us, comfortably. Their work in transitions, around the seams, the linkage between units, their basic organization is a complete shambles. Where is the coaching? They don't look prepared for their opponents. These things can be fixed, but it'd take a hard taskmaster to do it. I think some of the senior players bought into their hype and let themselves go. It's common for the English to get big headed early.

Wales have been terrible, maybe they are turning the corner with Gatland back at the helm. They always have some good backs, but have lost some key personnel to age since the last world cup.

The Boks did worse in 2018 than 2017 by every statistical metric. The Boks were never a good side in 2019 either. They were ranked 5th going into the world cup and 6th after the loss to New Zealand in the groups game. England have the capacity to bounce back, I just don't think they'll get their house in order any time soon. Given their schedule, they only have to have a hot streak for a couple of games. Of course, England, having been without a power pack since 2010, won't carry the same threat that they did in 2007, when they were also in a dire state.

When we lost against ENG EOYT 21, it was pretty much the same pack and they stood firm….I think the Players are in a ditch and also struggling perhaps with the new coach Borthwick….they will make a comeback.

We certainly did, however, the Bok pack of 2021 was a powder pack outside the maul. We were physicality dominated in every test of that year. We haven't dominated on the gainline in any test test since. The Bok pack under Erasmus is very weak by Bok standards. The last fearsome Bok pack we fielded was in 2013, on the EOYT.

Yesterday was a mix of established and new players.

We lost 5 line outs, dropped 16 balls and missed 20 tackles. It was a very poor show all round.

Erasputin has filled the Boks with mediocrity. We cannot field worldclass halfbacks, midfield, front row, back three, or loose trio. How then are we among the best teams? England have the resources to play better than this Bok side.

Heck Deus why are you so obviously hostile to the Boks. When it comes the Boks you lack objectivity. What is eating you up?

How about you trying to say something good about the Boks and Rassie. Let's break your psychosis.

My worry isn't about the England side, it's what happening to the Country. They are being destroyed by the Globalists ruling the country.

There is very little good to say about a team that hasn't shown great play in four years. We ranked bottom of the RC for defence, scrums, lineouts, and you say that I'm being overly pessimistic? These are trends of a side that is in decline. Any team that pitches up with intent makes us look very, very ordinary. All it takes these days is a fast press and we look utterly hopeless. Our only weapons are being made obsolete.

Don’t lie Doos I’ve always been a huge fan of 95% of our players and that’s what counts The fact I never rated some of our useless coaches is a different matter all together Difference between me and a useless cunt like yourself is that I am positive about our players whereas you are negative about 95% of them The fact that we win RC’s, WC’s, Lions series etc with such shit players is testament to how fucking rugby ignorant you are

95%? How did you arrive at that number? The same way you arrived at Morné being 100 times worse than any other flyhalf on earth? Saddex, the difference between you and I is that you are a casual who doesn't care to know the technicalities of the game. It doesn't really matter to you. You just want a platform to mouth off, and a survive audience to watch in awe as you spout your nonsensical gibberish. Your interpretation of positive could very well be called dopey passivity.

Unsurprisingly, liberal mindsets draw conclusions from irrelevant situations while dismissing obvious ones.

Rugby unions need money (it is only SA rugby from empoverished SA that kept denying it)

(one cause being COVID crisis)

One way to achieve the goal is to add games.

This fourth game added to the preparation serves the purpose of adding revenues.

Teams dealt with it accordingly when they could.

This is rugby, not football. Rugby world cups have nothing to do with football WCs in terms of density of competition.

No meaningful lesson to be taken for the EN until the quarter finals. If EN fails to qualify, stuff to be taken. Until then, nothing.

The EN has all the preparation games plus the group stage games to find themselves and tune up.

That is a lot of games.
