Plenty of youngsters turning out for our sides and it’s good to see some class players back playing in SA Wilco Louw is a beast in the scrums MOM against Cardiff Seeing Aker vd Merwe back is good to see. Really like young Hanekom at 8 for the Bulls he is a star in the making - Gatland already has his eye on him, he has a Welsh grandparent, but thankfully contracted with the Bulls for another 2 years Young lock Ludwig looks the real deal, high work rate and looks to have bulked up this year David Kriel is really good at 12 and I like Gans at 13, very elusive thanks to his 7’s skills Sebastian de Klerk is a good addition to the Bulls on the wing who has also played plenty of rugby at 13. Sharks are struggling but I like their young lock pair of Emile v Heerden and Corne Rahl Dylan Richardson back at hooker is a beast - what a waste that he has that single cap for Scotland but qualifies again for the Boks in 2 years Was impressed with Fassi’s defence - he fronted up big time, he looks to have filled out as well Sacha has been brilliant for the Stormers - this kid oozes class, playing 12 but probably better suited to 10 but who knows It’s good to see Gelant back in SA Ruben v Heerden at lock is a future Bok. Theunissen and Jason-Dixon add to our loosie depth as does Emmanuel Tsituka of the Lions Big fan of Nohamba at 9 for the Lions 158kg tighthead Ntlabakayne is a pleasure to watch, how he gets about being so overweight is beyond me but what a player - just imagine how good he would be at 130kg Horn at 8 is one of those players that always goes under the radar Am enjoying the new talent and seeing the likes of Wilco, Aker and Gelant back

Dave, How on the hell are you recovered from the World Cup PTSD? I'm not nearly recovered enough o watch rugby. It's like getting back from WW2 and watching Saving Private Ryan the moment you first sit down in your living room.

He's weighing up the Boks for next World Cup. Way to go, only 4 years.

Honestly, the URC straight after the World Cup feels kak. Quality is low with lots of errors and too much basketball or just crash and kick rugby.

The bulls scrum was really solid last night with Steenkamp and Louw demolishing the Welsh team.

I like the number 8 Hannekom. Made a real impact and Roos need to watch out because this kid can over take him.

Bulls backline will get better once the boks get back.

Kriel is doing well at 12. Think the bulls have found their centre combination.

Kriel and Moodie, both tall, fast agile. Not bulky, but then they can also play in the back 3.

Then throw in Arendse, you have a really lethal combo.

Symanye is also at the bulls but not reaching his potential which is a real shame.

Sharks and Lions are a lost cause.

Looks Plumbers is in for a rude awakening, you can’t play super rugby style up north, especially with the reffing that is so pedantic with the whistle.

But honestly, not been impress with the games. Probably should get interested around Feb

URC not that much fun to watch if you're a Sharks supporter like me. They are embarrassingly bad.

How poor was the stormers against the worst URC team that haven’t won a game in 28 outings. That said, Gelant had a mare, Dweeb looked unfit and as per usual fucked everything up. No wonder he never made the bok squad and rightly so. Time to invest in Grobbies and look for some other alternatives. The warthog looked great and with Rassie dads army policy, could find himself back with the boks.

Feinberg is not a 12 and have been really disappointing on defence. How many tackles did he miss that led to tries.

Think he's confusing Benetton with Zebre.
Benetton are the only team undefeated after 4 games this season. Currently sitting in 5th in the URC 1 point off the top of the table.  They won 8 out of  18 URC games last season and 5 games in the challenge cup where they went out in the semi finals. Benetton are a solid team. Sleep on them at your peril.

Ja, sorry, mixed up with the sharks. Benetton is a decent team.

I did say last year that the first 4 week tour should just be the 2nd stringers and the first 15 to stay at home.

Do the same as what Leinster does and create some depth in your squad.

Bulls still looks like the best SA outfit.

Stormers globe trotter rugby is going to their heads
