Scotland's Richie Gray will miss the November tests due to another back injury. He is expected to be out of action for 4 months.

England's Vunipola will also miss the Autumn tours due to a broken arm suffered in the win over Glasgow on Sunday. Robshaw injured his knee and will be out of action for 5 weeks.

I'll save my talking until the conclusion of the England test. No Faf and Willie will be interesting! We've got some beef to throw around, if Rassie is smart. Kolisi is likely to struggle, so too the likes of Damian. They'll attack the fringes harder than what we experienced in the RC, so Steph needs to be accurate. Rassie likes to have Eben defend further out. It makes alot of sense given he is our most dynamic forward, but Steph can struggle to make those quick reads. I think he'd be better with Eben defending closer inside. 

That is true, Steph doesn't counter ruck. He can make some good stops, but when he is beaten, he leaves a gaping hole to pour into. New Zealand were baiting it. Smarter scrum halves will exploit it. We do need him to have a big game against Wales and England. He is capable of it.

The likes of Damian are not going to be up to the task. Far too much work to make him a viable test player. 

This started as a thread indicating injuries to NH players and AO and Mozart start to write their normal BS about Du Toit and De Allende.   They just cannot help it.

By the way which Vunipola did you refer to.     Mozart found three - the third one was a Tonga player he would like to see in the English team - just the right age of 40.  However, there are in fact two Billy and Marco - which one is out?

Poor Mozart - Ed send him a sympathy card from all of us.   He started a new thread on the player Billy Vunipola - but called him Vinny.   Now his dream prop he wanted in to humiliate Malherbe will not play,    What a disaster!!!!!!!!!!!    

Lukhan Tui has confirmed his unavailability for the EOYT. A big blow for Cheika. That extra grunt would have proved useful alongside what many consider an underpowered pack. 

This is funny -  I always found AO "finds" as funny peculiar.   He has written a number of threads about Lukhan Tui and it prompted me to check the guy out.   He was a very average blindside flank for the Reds in Super Rugby and since a number of better flanks were out injured Cheika picked him as bench player in the first two Irish tests and in the third started with him.  In the RC he had two good ball caries - but his defense was so-so in all tests he played in

 From wat I have seen he is slow and ponderous - a Louw type of loosie that will never become a top loosie.   This is laughable - suddenly Tui who did near to zero in the June tests and not much better in the RC  - is the forward the Aussies will miss most.   If he said McMahon was the player the Aussies are missing one could understand - but Tui?

This type of thing is weird and a regular when it comes to player performance evaluation by AO.              

No, you saw nothing. I wasn't here during the Super rugby season, and I only spoke of him from the Brisbane test. How then could you have "checked him out" after I made those statements? Where is your source for those Reds games? ESPN stats? 

In a team short of physicality he will be missed. He was one of the best Wallabies in the RC. A player who can run over Bok forwards isn't something to be sniffed at, he would undoubtedly have gone a good way to evening the contest in SA.

Is it to be a surprise that you disagree? You make brash statements merely because of contrary thinking. It's been your undoing many a time. You see what I say, and then aggressively say the opposite. I've tested you a number of times out of interest. To see what responses I can get out of you, when and where; W hat emotional content I can draw from you. You are very predictable, with a limited emotional pallette. Your retort will be even more interesting. Can you throw me a curve ball?  

The one test wonder suddenly makes him the best Aussie forward.   This from the guy whose player performance assessments  are the weirdest I have ever seen.   He regularly rates failed players as huge success stories and top class players as failures.

No AO - Tui has a long way to go before the claims made by you could be sustained.

Chris Robshaw is out for England. He'll miss up to 8 weeks due to knee surgery. 

Hodge is out for Australia. A very big loss. Alongside Haylett-Petty as their best attacking threat.

I did not see the name Mostert in the Training squ ad?  Is he injured? 

"Interestingly lock Franco Mostert was not named on Sunday as he has just joined English club Gloucester‚ whom he has yet to play for. He should be included when Erasmus completes the squad announcement next week." 

That means the end of Mostert - an Ackerman favourite.  They will not have three locks in the final squad and my bet is that the three would be Etzebeth, De Jager and Snyman.  Mostert's light weight causes problems in Tight 5 play - but that is the reason for your admiration.   He was very much like Matfield in that respect.        

I don't see very much of a similarity between Mostert and Victor at all. If anything, it is Steph who is the closer fit to the Victor style of play. 

Lood may work up north. It depends on the game our opponents play. Tight quarters are what he excels at most. He needs attackers to be right in front of him. He can still be a liability even under these conditions.
