EP Queens to debut in 2013?

I read In Business Day yesterday that the EP Queens are set t o join the Super 15 next year.

Please oh please will any Super 15 side playing the queens in warm-ups please give them the most severe of snotklaps!! Cheeky Watson has used his political ties it seems to gain entrance. There is no question of merit here - not  in any way.

Who will be dropped? Well as the Lions won the Currie Cup it looks likely to be the Cheetahs. Also how can SAs largest city not have a super 15 side? The Cheetahs may do better than the Lions in this years Super 15 so what then? Also the Cheetahs have been a very rich source of talent rugbwise. So much so that one wonders if they are intrinsically the top rugby province provided they could retain their players. Against this what have the queens done.

One solution touted was increasing the Super 15 to 16 with each side playing each other once only. This would also shorten the season to the relief of the players no doubt.

Anyhow to me these queens getting in via the backdoor is a NO NO. If by merit there can be no complaint.

Would hate to see the Lions or Cheetahs go in this manner of means!! This really sucks big time

Kings will be a joke.

No way they can replace any of the current S15 teams.

The Cheetahs especially must maul these oaks real good. These are the thieves who want their place in the super 15!  Hope its a cricket score. The Cheetahs mus tunderstand ths iis actually a significant game.
