There were some signs that what Erasmus did in the WC is being copied by teams. I think about some changes that Erasmus made in team selection as one of those, In the past the 8 replacement bench players were constantly divided between 5 forwards and 3 backline players. In the WC Erasmus changed that to 6 forwards and 2 backline players, That formula of Erasmus is taking root with other teams as well,
In the test between England and France - at about minute 3 the English team tried to form a driving maul the way the Springboks did successfully in the WC final. It did not work out and the English did not retry it in the game - so maybe it would not be tried by other teams.
