I did business...I was in the banking business, with this dude in the late 80's...what a lovely guy...humble and very friendly with a huge teethy smile...Henry Cele...played Shaka in a movie...sadly he died a terrible death in St Augustines Hospital...I could not believe because it was not the man I met many years before.
Mike...he used to own a trading store (African Trading Store) in Kwa Mashu near your part of the world. He was a soccer player for Bushbucks...I think the goalkeeper...the Zulu's called him Blackcat. I told Henry that he should have been a rugby player...he just laughs and said , "why Mike? I said Henry with your uncanny skills you would have been the first Zulu to play for SA. Shaka at 6 or 7 ...he just laughed ...he said when sees the SA team(cannot remember the exact players then). What a really beautiful person he was...he moved to the USA and married a white woman but he disappeared into minor films there in America and we lost contact. I often think of him as terribly wasted talent...one of the nicest persons I've ever met...RIP Henry.You added a little bit of spark in my life and I'm sure many others. Nobody will able to be A Shaka like you...you understood the soul, the part...
