Rebs lost momentum after the forward pass try to Du Preez....but the Sharks have dominated the collisions. Something the Bools never did today.
Biggest suspense at this point.....does Esterhozen crack Mike's team of the week.

These high tackles are feeble.....I remember fondly the collar tackle. I got the Bishops wing twice in one game when he was in space with perfect collar tackles that sent him sailing on his back into touch. Nothing more satisfying!

Great try by Mapimpi, but he was up against tight forwards. Mapimpi and Nkosi make too many mistakes.....one good thing followed by three blunders.
Now reversed by a laughable clothes line. He may be gone longer than 10 minutes.

I was fortunate - we had liadshedding and I could not watch ,ore than half pf the match. Will have to look at it again - so no players of the week.
What I did see was that Vermeulen had a repeat of his third test in June - totally below par, He left the game injured and I wonder whether he will be back this Super 15 season,
Anyway - if I have to pick a TOW there will be only a few certainties, those will include
* that new full back of the Lions:
* Marx from the Lions
* Du Toit and Schickerling of the Stormers
* Dan du Preez of the sharks
Definitely nobody from the Bulls - and Esterhuizen feom whaat I have seen in the first half carried the ball twice near the tryline and lost possession of the second ball. Statistically he was very average.

Du Toit missed a crucial lineout at minure 70 to set the match clinching try in motion.....again.
Then moments later at minute 73 the Stormers who had a dominant maul all day, couldn't secure their lineout 5 metres from the Canes line...after the ball was thrown to the back, eschewing the Stephanie option.
Same opportunity to win at minute 78 Augoostus goes offside.
Those were moments when your most experienced lineout player might have stood up.....called it on himself and executed. Three lineouts weren't enough.

Mozart = are you nuts of something, Du Toit made 30 tackles missing 3 - so he missed the line-out jump according to you - but you have misled us in the past,, He and Schickerling set up how many driving mauls leading to Stormers tries? I am sorry - but you should be honest for a aching e and give credit where credit is due. Who called that line-out anyway, and I his another case that the hooker could not make an accurate throw-in like Marx did in the test against England and Du Toit got blamed for it?
