Etene Nanai- Setura - a player to watch

...i don't want to overhype the kid but no denying he has great potential to go places...instrumental in NZ achieving gold with a great try in the final at the Com Games and only 18...

He also has a great back story with NZ Rugby and Warriors tug of war for the former St Kentigerns College and NZ Schools team rep... this after he signed a contract with the Warriors when he was 15 - btw he is also a cousin of NRL superstar Rodger Tuivasa Shek

Long story short NZ rugby payed the Warriors what is thought to be a six figure compenstion payment for him..

And after initially being overlooked for the Commonwealth games team he only received a late call up after an injury hit Ngarohi McGarvey Black so was like all the stars aligned for him and who knows if we would have won gold without him...

...and JW , pretty sure he's signed with the Mighty Chiefs so good news...and he plays fullback..

I will watch him if he is in the NZ Under 20 World Cup team coming up soon.  

I am not overly impressed by the NZ schools in the recent World Schools Festival in Paarl.   The fact is you sad they teams present was no 8 and number 17 on the rated list of NZ schools, but the way they lost is a  disgrace and does not reflect well on the NZ school situation.

I suppose the other schools in NZ was too cowardly or they could not raise sponsorships to attend the festival, but even if they did come they would have been beaten badly.
