Great signing by the Sharks He is best mates with Kolisi so am sure Siya had a hand in luring the big man to Durbs Means we can add him to the SA based Bok side to play England on the EOYT

A major signing indeed. Sharks are bolstering their squad, and clearly have a big budget.
Before long Steph Dutoit will be back at the Sharks.

Not such good news for the Stormers .... but with him or not Stormers can beat the sharks , even with all there Boks, as proven :)

Pity my WP is bankrupt,  we have more than a decent team, punching way above their weight...a couple more world class players can make WP a great team...Eben and another can make a serious difference.

The sharks must have deep pockets....to have all those Boks and maybe more to come, must cost them fortune.

Not a Lood fan myself..

I like the look of Dixon playing 4 for WP vs Gq tonight.

I am surprised that  you think the owner of the Sharks listens to what Kolisi has to say.

You know the guy who WP did not want plus cannot hold a regular starting spot in the Sharks team and a 60 minute Springbok at best.

Yes you might suggest that the pundits of WR selected him as player of the year but we all know that Eben was the real 2021 PLAYER of the year.

AJ, you're wrong about Kolisi...he's a very good player.

My point exactly - 106kg is far too light for lock

"My point exactly - 106kg is far too light for lock"

He looked a bit bigger Friday night..he played 4 for WP in a CC match...didn't see too much of him but he looked promising from the bits, although he got carded.

But you are correct, 6'6" and 106 is too small for a lock.

Well, if you look at how many of the current boks either grew up in the western cape or played for the stormer. It is mind boggling to think that the stormers couldn't keep the talent. I think this team alone, with the right coach would probably be around 7 or 8 in the world and on a good day been may the top 3 teams in the world.

1. Kittshoff

2. Bongi

3. Malherbe

4. Etzebeth

5. PSDT

6. Kolisi

7. Elstadt

8. Vermeulen (Freestate)

9. Jantjies

10. Pollard, Poached by the bulls

11. Cheslin Kolbe

12. De Allende

13. Willems

14. Gelant

15. Willie Le Roux (Journeyman, grew up in the Cape)

Then there are a bunch of other great players like Leyds, Ruan Botha, JD Schickeling, Augustus Grute, Coetzee to name a few

Irrespective of what we all think he is a pro. so money talks, and makes things happen.

Good for you Eben the Sharks and my once home team.
