Watching the All Black's achieve such an excellent achievement last year is always tough for us Bok fans! But we have a great group of youngsters, the future's bright if we get the selections and development right!
I was just re-watching some games from last year and I know it's been said a lot, but Etzebeth - what a player! A proper second row enforcer. With him and PSDT we could dominate the second row for many a year.
Hopefully his ankle injury won't affect his movement, I'm not an expert in injuries so I'm not sure what sort of effect it will have on future performance, the good news is he's reportedly been using the time to work on upper body strength - not that he needed to.
If you watch from around 0:51, I remember during this match being amazed at how quickly Eben could shift.
Here's to a bright future for our boys in green and gold and to a good first week of S15!

He has the hardware to go down as the best lock ever......he is already bigger than Bakkies and is more athletic

When he ran down the wing against New Zealand I though I was about to see a wonder try being scored, but Dagg took that hope away with a brilliant low tackle.

Yes, he's physically for his age he's outstanding. And it was a top tackle from Dagg to stop him.

When Etzebeth ran down the wing on one occasion with Ben Smith in pursuit, the wing never gained an inch on the flying lock. But this ankle thing is a concern in such a huge man.

Moz, is that the same flying lock that Kieran Read ran away from down the left touch line to score under the posts?.....Didn't look so fast then!!
