I was very surprised to see that Johnny Kotze had a good game today. Most of his previous efforts looked like a one-dimensional cart horse- but today was certainly a better performance by him.
The Bulls backline overall looked good. I expected them to get hammered because on paper the Bulls looked pretty average at best.
Gelant was good again, as was Jessica Kriel and Jamba Ulengo.
Papier was better than Ivan the terrible, and Pollard delivered another consistent and assured performance. Divan Roussow showed some power, albeit he is not the fastest.
The back row was much better than expected.
Snyman showed some sparks that reminded fans of his first bok performance. Pierre Schoeman was also pretty good, and the hooker looked ok as well.
