Everything is fine in Camelot

'Kolisi's stock soars'....'Boks could get back to Number 2 in a hurry'......'Du Preez can be world's best'.....'Rassie return would be a master stroke'. ... A far cry from the headlines a month ago, but maybe a tad premature.

 Agreed, way premature, but also less doom than predicted. Kolisi was a surprize. If he can build on his performances, I can see a place for him in the squad. As for getting back to 2...no chance anytime soon. We and Oz will drop back a bit. It seems some of the NH teams closed the gap a bit and England, Ireland and Wales at the head, with nothing much between SA, Aus, Argi, France and Scotty  

Agree with all that....one has to ask if the results would be reversed if we were playing in France.

 Time will tell with a tough away tour ahead in the RC. It will all come out in the wash but we wish them well.

 
All this positiveness from two tests against the hapless French?

Imagine what would happen if we actually selected the talented players to represent us?

The rugby world would worship us ... our economy would rocket ... foreign investment would soar ... Zuma would hand himself over for incarceration ... the Sun would shine brighter each day but without the harmful rays ... crime would be non existent ... I would find a Ferrari Enzo parked in my drive ... under cover of course to protect it from the swine that fly overhead.

 Premature or not. The Bok pack is looking menacing now that they've inserted work horses and gotten rid of some of the show ponies.
How right we were last year when we spoke about transplanting the Lions brotherhood into the Bok dressing room. 
As premature as it is and as tired as the French are, there are marked differences from last year this time.
Let's not forget that the Boks played a weekend Irish team, with 14 men and totally failed to dominate them. 
It's a fallacy to say that because the French aren't completely amped and because they have a poor history of results on their end of year tours that we should glean nothing from this series. 
There are a ton of conclusions to draw which fall well before over optimism so while we should be cautious we should also not ignore everything out of hand. 
I don't think anybody here suddenly thinks we'll trounce the ABs. Most of us are cautious yet optimistic. And that's pretty much exactly where we should be.

Nah bud. Just optimistic about progress. It'll be a while before we threaten the ABs again. One has to start somewhere though.

 Based on last night's performance I reckon the AB's are still +/- 30 points better than the Boks.
