Now for an extra bit of needling. Remember the last test between the AB's and the Wallabies was a draw. That was followed by a EOYT by both teams and the game against the POM could be a guideline as to what would happen in the upcoming series. The Poms lost against the Wallabies - they beat them badly - and the POMS beat the AB's.
We are all being flooded by McCaw nostalgia from the AB fans on the Board - but I think the impact of the returning McCaw on the outcome of the RC would be negligible - whether he is back or not -will not be a factor.
My feeling is that the AB's will be beaten by the Wallabies and that may add to a feeling of delusion - which may be short lived.

off course they will beat the AB its foolish to think they will not beat the AB at some stage, and its there best chance this season to do so from the past few.

McKenzie is really starting to play games here. Did you see the Reds team picked for the game against the Waratahs on Saturday? He obviously is not keen on winning that one and if the Reds loses against the Waratahs by more than 7 points - they are bound to end up in log position 6. That would avoid a play-off game against the Crusaders and the play-offs is likely to be the Reds against the Brumbies and the Cheetahs against the Crusaders.
The Reds may feel they have a better chance in beating the Brumbies than the Crusaders - so that may e what they want to achieve. There are very noticeable absentees from the Reds team eg Genia himself and Horwill - so I am very suspicious in this case.

@Saffex - If you did see REds v Lions game - Cooper was immense and had he been in the team with DIFFERENT coach outcome would have been a lot different.
Cant wait for bledisloe this year and for once in vey long time- Wallabies will enter with good tactics...

still need the players to win, and do there job. Cooper is crap look at the crap he served up with reds vs War you need more than that to beat the AB. The problem with Australia is lack of REAL talent and depth the most they can hope for is random victory's at best. Never alone winning consecutive tests, that is the real problem. Look at Lions test great example. To win BC and RC need to beat SA and AB more than once.
